BLOSSOM CULTURE is a belgian music duo composed by Oussama & Pouya, recognized in the electronic scene for his melodies and lush soundscapes. Music was a family thing since childhood, from their north-african & persian heritage, they grow with a deep knowledge of music theory and its worldwide influences.
BLOSSOM CULTURE bends time through sound, blending elements of deep tribal house and arabic spices, moving through tempos with layers and taste. As interplanetary travelers and cultural explorers, they understand their audience, They adapt and build hypnotics sets, that blow minds and bring dance skills to another level.

Recorded on a dusty Thursday afternoon, we have the pleasure of bringing you Dauw's eclectic jam session, recorded at the Shamal Cosmic Swingers Lounge during Burning Man 2018. 

The beauty of the Cosmic Swingers sound is that we always ask our DJ familia to explore their musical boundaries and give us something a little bit different. 

There was chilling, dancing, grooving and hugging. Cosmic jazz for the win on a Sunday(or any) afternoon :)

Dauw Crate Digging Session - Cosmic Swingers Lounge - Burning Man 2018

Those who have followed my social posts posts for the last two years might have witnessed how I discovered a new “format“ of dance events called Ecstatic Dance. Some call it Conscious Dance or give it other names, but it all means more or less the same. As far as I learned about the history these dance ceremonies evolved in the mid 90s, at least partly based on an invention that had been made by an American woman called Gabriele Roth, already in the 70s.
20 years later, again, activists from the US west coast began to organize events, still with a clear reference to Roth’s spiritual superstructure and setting, but with a more free flow and open approach to the musical journey - Ecstatic dance was born. Over the years, a universal set of rules has emerged and Ecstatic Dance has become a worldwide movement bringing together all those who want to rediscover dance as a transformational and healing power, beyond the nocturnal world of experience inextricably linked with the consumption of legal and illegal drugs.
Looking back, it seems as if Ecstatic Dance found me, not the other way around. Four years ago I was already told by some shamans and other highly spiritual beings in the Sacred Valley of Peru, that my soul was searching for a new expression that would combine my passion for music and dance with my growing loving devotion to the transcendental and healing practices and arts. When I was told this, I had already started to attend the first little ceremonies, dancing my ass off there in the mountains, not realizing that I had already found what these people were talking about. It needed 2 more years, until I had an epiphany at an event of Ecstatic Dance Berlin, which made it clear that playing for Ecstatic dances was exactly what these people had predicted for me. Since then everything went quite fast with this new passion of mine. Meanwhile I must have played for almost 30 ceremonies and I also feel a strong calling to produce music that can be played in that context.
For over a year now, I have been waiting that a new name/alias would come to me. I had the feeling that it couldn’t be the DJ T. persona who is playing for these ceremonies, because this type of DJing comes from a different place inside of me, has a different functionality and contains a lot of music that I would never play in a club. Because I was waiting for this name I didn’t dare to make recordings of my sets public so far, they are all only circulating amongst friends from the worldwide Ecstatic Dance scene. So I decided, at least for the moment, to move on and accept to continue playing for Ecstatic Dances under my old name and to finally share all the sets with the world. I trust, that if its meant to be, that there will emerge a new name, and if not, then it will be ok too. I can't put in words how happy it makes me to look to a future where i will continue playing music in both worlds.
Enjoy this set that was recorded at Garbicz Festival! Thanks to the crew behind the festival & KaterBlau to put your trust in me and give me the opportunity to create the musical journey for the two ceremonies at this beautiful spot in the woods this year. The pictures in the album were taken at one of the two ceremonies, that has been my biggest so far, with around 200 people taking part.

Along the shores of multiple genres, Lasse Lambretta lives for trippy, multi-layered, and diverse music. By blending distorted vocals with whipping percussions and adding a therapeutic dosis of acid, the oddball with the Scandinavian - Mediterranean name concocts a hypnotic sound, while wearing a mischievous smile on his lips. 

A member of the collectives fernab, drosssel, [ɔstˈɛnd] and “the other half” of KGLN, he likes to mingle and create with like-minded individuals. At times cheesy, at times over the top, sometimes deep, sometimes dark: A session with this rascal plays at cozy yet driving tempo and in the end, everything seems to be a little bit different.
