this prolly seems like just some mediocre digicore beat but it feels significant to me for some reason. i think i made it when i was first getting into "hyperpop"/"digicore" type stuff and so it was an early forray into that kind of style. i have a few other beats from that era in a similar style to this, but this one feels the most significant to me for whatever reason. also i just think its one of the better ones lol

to me this song is sort of a sister song to free fall, another song i made with a heroz loop that i dropped earlier this year, but after i had made this one. I completely forgot about this song until I was going through my projects folder for this comp, but iirc when I was making this I thought it was gonna be like my magnum opus or some shit, and i was planning on getting a bunch of features on it, hence the empty space. I think I was possibly thinking about getting STM on it? No idea if she would have actually wanted to hop on tho lmao. I never ended up actually finishing it tho, like I think I was planning more onto the end of it, so that's the main reason it never got released, although to be honest im unsure if I would have been able to find features for it anyways. In retrospect, i do think it sorta holds up, but I'm not sure if I love my vocal performance on the hook I recorded. Admittedly it is catchy tho.
