Here we go with our very first exclusive premiere and we've got a corker to get things rolling. Venezuelan duo Fur Coat have kindly given us the first play of the title track from their forthcoming EP 'There's No Time', which is coming out on Jamie Jones' ever popular Hot Creations label.

This new track is a perfect example of their love affair with the sleazier side of house music, razor sharp synth lines cascade over a hefty set of percussion and a rumbling, morose b-line while a pitched-down, barely audible vocal lurks in the background. Hot stuff we're sure you'll agree. You can get your copy of the cut from the 31st of March.

Spanish DJ/Producer and Fayer label boss Edu Imbernon released his new single Bitter Fate on July 4th, complete with a remix from Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat.

Having already established himself as one of Spain’s most revered homegrown DJ/producers over the last five years, Bitter Fate is a testament to Edu’s slick, ever-maturing sound. Centered around a hazy, mellow vocal, the track builds across seven minutes of rolling, balearic grooves and bright, glistening melodies that feel perfectly geared towards the incoming summer season. 
  
Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine, better known as Fur Coat, then turn in their own darker, rolling rework to give the track a new dynamic for the floor. Built around a dark, pulsating bassline and haunting male vocals, their edit feels both near-hypnotic and infectious, serving as an excellent addition to Edu’s original mix.

"Black Sunrise“ by Francesco Chiocci feat. Black Soda, was one of the highlights of our last edition of Livingroom Techno. When we heard the track for the frst time, we knew right away that it endears itself to remixers due to the haunting vocals by Black Soda from Cape Town.
The result is a full on family affair: Olderic, Lehar, Musumeci and Peter Pardeike have interpreted "Black Sunrise“ and although each of them has created his own trip, all of them are genuinely "The Sound of Connaisseur“.

Olderic’s version preaches the peak-time open-air moment with some proper pathos on top.

Lehar’s remix on the other hand takes the middle course between catchiness and abstract soundscapes, delivering a very unique interpretation.

Musumeci has created a deep house builder in the manner of Atjazz or Charles Webster, timeless to the bone.

And last but not least, Peter Pardeike declares his love to Afro-Beat with his version.
More summer simply isn’t possible!

Our catalogue number 24 is a very emotive one with a clear focus on the dancefoor but also for your great listening pleasure. The “Susurrus” EP is featuring the young Dutch German talent Raphael Hofman - The berlin based producer with regular gigs at the legendary Sisyphos already has a rich experience starting at the tender age of 16 hosting his own electronic club series, Djing as well as singing and playing the guitar.

His musicality and talent in producing beautiful soundscapes and rhythmic structures fnds expression on this smooth 2 tracker, the “Susurrus” EP.

The remixes are coming from two very promising newcomers. Portsmouth own Kris Davis stirring up the underground with his emotive, analog crafted techno since 2014 as well as Bird Of Paradise, who has recently fast tracked to prominence via his output on Correspondant and New Yorks “Throne Of Blood”.

Susurrus opens this release with a sunrise. Vanishing soundscapes leading to a synth melody that hits your heart and carries you evolving throughout this tune with a straight honest techish groove keeping it together.

Bird of Paradise’s version is bringing “Sussurus” to a diferent level. Moviish soundscapes paired with a demanding acid line. The groove is a unique mix of 80ish elements and modern percussive parts which will surely fnd his afcionados.

Nightmare is not so nightmarish as it’s title. It’s more a hymn dedicated to those who can’t stop dancing till dawn. Dark but not gritty. Driving but still with the regard for the morning hours as well as droppable in the prime time hours.

Kris Davis already has a very distinctive trademark sound which you can fnd in his interpetation of “Nightmare”. Emotive, deep and ambient but not loosing paying attention to the crowd. A great piece.
