Absence of Facts label head Orion returns to his own imprint, delivering a potent three-track statement of raw, hypnotic techno.

Opener ‘Late Arrival’ builds a pressurized atmosphere, driven by a deep, pulsing rhythm and a stripped-down aesthetic. The EP continues with ‘Verentia,’ which pushes further into immersive sound design, weaving a web of psychedelic textures and hypnotic patterns. Closing the release, ‘Comatose’ lives up to its name with a heavy, relentless groove. Its broken-beat character and somatic low-end make it a formidable tool for the deepest hours of the night.

The follow-up to 'Planet Love', which garnered plenty of premier DJ support and charted on Beatport, along with receiving widespread specialist radio plays worldwide, as well as mainstream radio support in John's native Ireland, 'Letrik' is named after the well known, late-noughties, Irish clubbing brand, for which Gibbons was resident. 

Letrik has already received very early tastemaker and DJ support from Judge Jules on his Global Warmup radio show, and of the track John says, 'high impact is the focus, with the aim of capturing the energy and essence of classic dance-floors but with a modern and forward-thinking flavour and direction.'

Nikita Tselovalnikov, the Russian-born psytrance producer behind Penta, has been making music for twenty years. Having played as a trance producer in more than thirty countries around the world, appearing repeatedly in every major festival such as Boom, Voov, Universo Paralello, Full Moon and Burning Man, Nikita has gained reputation as one of the pioneers and innovators in the psytrance world. Being identified with darkpsy, full-on and progressive genres at the same time, Penta’s unique futuristic sound has brought together people of different scenes into one swirling psychedelic dance. You will find Penta’s tracks on dozens of compilations as well as four albums – “Pentafiles”, “Funraiser”, “Horn Please” and "Portuguese abduction", all available as either CDs or digital downloads in on-line stores such as Beatport and iTunes. His fifth album “Give Me Five” was released in April of 2009. Sixth album "All Shots Double" is coming on July 15th, 2011. Apart from being a producer, Nikita is the designer, webmaster and the owner of AuraQuake record label, as well as the creator of AuraQuake t-shirt line. He is also the man behind spontaneous projects, such as Boom Radio and Universo Paralello YouTube broadcasts.

Since 2008, Nikita is performing his own electro house music under the name Azorsky.

He is currently living in the Azores Islands, Portugal.

We are short of words to thank everyone who helped make Cosmo Festival 2012 such a beautiful gathering— please accept our thanks and blessings. Cosmo Festival has always been about getting as many like-minded members of our tribe together and celebrating all that is good about life, art, music and creativity. But without so many crucial people it just wouldn’t be able to take place…

It would be impossible to thank everyone who have worked so hard to produce Cosmo 2012, but we do need to show our thanks to Taunton Deane Borough Council and Taunton Racecourse for allowing us to have our festival at such a beautiful location. Paul Bacon (Prog Ltd.), James Dagless (Prog Ltd.), Mikkel Peddersen (Parvati rec.) , Giuseppe (Parvati rec.), Michael Odo (Planet Bob), Lefteris and crew(Visual Architect), Tara Hawes (Cosmo Festival), Sasha Bajac (Nomadic Productions), Amin Karim (Access All Areas), Stu (Dream-Creation), Ross March (Liquid Records), Jon Bishop & tammy Shirk (Jacks House) and all the crew who have actively been involved in this evolution and deserve a mention for going well beyond the bounds of what’s usually humanly possible to make this festival a cosmic cause.
