It is with great pleasure that we bring you the 5th compilation on Damaru Records - “Synthetic Lifeforms” - this is a story loaded with nocturnal classics created from the heart by some of the most talented psychedelic artists on the planet today. 
This up tempo journey shows much diversity and high quality production from some of the scene’s pioneering artists, but it also proudly introduces you to some of the fresh new members to the Damaru family. 
2014 could not start off in a better fashion, expect to hear these amazing cuts hitting dance floors far and wide throughout this year and years to come. We hope you enjoy.

°TEᗰᗩᘔᑕᗩᒪᒪI ° – 𝙲𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚋𝚢 𝙶𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚛

𝑻𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊 nos narra una historia retratada en un mural (como lo hacían los antiguos teotihuacanos) que se ubica en una realidad alterna en la que nuestros ancestros mesoamericanos nunca fueron colonizados.
Con el paso de los siglos, el libre desarrollo de la tecnología y el arte permitió a los macehuales crear un género musical bastante parecido al 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 , por lo que el mural nos muestra una fiesta muy parecida a un rave, en la que el mismo 𝑻𝒍á𝒍𝒐𝒄 bajó de los cielos para acompañar a los danzantes y purificarlos antes de concluir la celebración y entrar a curarse al Temazcal. En esta ocasión, tenemos en los decks a 𝘿𝙅 𝙕𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙠 , mezclando una fina selección de tracks inspirados en la medicina del temazcal, y en nuestra cultura y legado ancestral como mexicanos.

Para la creación del arte visual se realizó un mural con técnicas mixtas, utilizando esténciles (muchos esténciles), pintura en aerosol y pintura a mano. Lo que ven frente a ustedes es un mural que existe en la vida real y que fue fotografiado, digitalizado y retocado para su deleite visual.

Abstract Construct is the 5th release and 4th compilation from Damaru Records.
It’s compiled by DJ Lloyd Positivist from Wales.
The music takes you on a journey that is reflective of the spectrum that is night time psychedelia today and contains contributions from the very talented members of the Damaru family and some very special guests who are at the forefront of today's very diverse and cutting edge night time psychedelic scene.

The journey starts off in the forest and atmospheric environments and via a smooth transition, gradually increases tempo and power to the full power night time dancefloor, and finally finishing off with some grinding hi tech, brain disassembly and a hint of humour.

We hope you enjoy the experience that "Abstract Construct" has to offer. We really enjoyed putting it together and we hope that you love it as much as we do.
