When my journey as a Dj started, my sound was a combination of smooth and melodic. Over the time I developed a more driving and spheric sound which I am now known for. 

I always want to take you on a journey which is when I am playing in front of a crowd powerful and other times when I am recording a podcast more dreamy. 

While recording this set, I wasn't thinking about creating something thats gonna be published. I just wanted to do, what I love the most. Making music and creating something that reflects my feelings at this moment. So I named this set love&joy, because that's what I felt in this beautiful 1 and a half hours. 

I hope you enjoy listening and maybe you'll also feel some of the love and joy that I put in this set and that came back to me while doing it.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

For Cuddle Cast #34 we asked @bretfast from the beautiful Taunus region to create a journey for us and he made the perfect trip for sunny summer Sundays in bed.

"Dach ahoi" und entschleunigt-organisch nach vorn, so die Devise unseres neuen Podcasts, der uns von der zauberhaften "Lotte Ahoi" aus dem "Urban Cosmonaut Radio" Umfeld beschert wurde. Die Programmkuratorin von "Sloth Disco" sowie "Slow Motor" ist für ihren vielfältigen Sound bekannt, der sich nach eigenen Angaben als "Funkumbiafrorientropical" bezeichnen lässt – ein Zungenbrecher, den man sich erstmal auf selbiger zergehen lassen muss, bevor es ans Ohrenstreicheln geht. "Lotte Ahoi" ist mit diesem Podcast ein beachtenswerter Spagat zwischen elektronischem Downtempo, tropischer Rhythmik und kosmischen Trips gelungen, der beweist, dass musikalische Grenzen nur in unseren Köpfen existieren. At the end of the European summer season, a living-room session prepared by the German duo Kahl & Kæmena(@kahl-kaemena) comes to us. They work together as a team since meeting in February 2015, while Kahl is responsible for the selection Kæmena adds her improvisations with her piano edits what is really exciting. Every time Kæmena is playing different which means their sets are never the same, even if they would again play the same songs.

This 97th edition is a one cut live-improvisation-session 97min based on the experiences of the summer festivals they played between June and August early this year. It's pretty much a pleasing delicate flavour compilation that aims to bring livingness from this festival summer tour together so we are sure you will not find anything similar out there.
