The 4 Elements of nature, with their freedom and wisdom, take us to places of synergy with Mother Earth and human spiritual enrichment. Wind is freedom, Earth is balance, Water represents the ability to flow and Fire is passion and energy. Conceived by the talented Spanish producer UNAM in collaboration with the awesome singer Lola Nahual, together with a team of unique creative magicians such as; Mom, Thommie G, Sangeet, Lev Tatarov, and Serkan Eles, los 4 Elementos is a diverse and deep journey to enjoy.
The track ¨Los 4 Elementos¨ highlights the deep voice of Lola Nahual, along with ¨Its just a ride¨ inspired by Bill Hicks and one of his famous monologues, after that ¨Dragon Azul¨ is dedicated to the mystical flight and the life of this mythical creature plus all the other remixes which come with their unique taste each one of them. We are in a new era, a time that many say has come to connect with the sacred feminine energy and sow the seed of healing to the wounded masculine energies. It is time to reconnect with the mother's energy and ancestral wisdom, leave our fears behind and wake up all together.

In 'Cantos a la Madre' (Chants to the Mother) each artist presents an interpretation of the concept of 'mother' in their own 'chant', forming a multilingual compilation that investigates the development of a new electronic music in harmony with the lyrical tradition of different cultures. It includes songs in the native languages of South America such as Quechua, bits of Mapudungun, and interesting musical creations in German, Ukrainian, Hebrew, as well as many in Spanish, English, and more.

With a large feminine presence plus the invitation to work in a mixed way between women and men, the album is an attempt to take electronic music one step further, highlighting the use of the human voice and, as well, reflecting on this broad and wonderful concept of ¨the mother¨, a concept that is transversal to all living beings on this planet.

We invite the public to listen and collaborate with this project with the intention that any help, whether in donations or simply by sharing this album (that's free!), is in itself a little but important seed for the rebirth of this art and part of its community, plus all donations on Bandcamp will go directly to the artists, heavily affected by the closure of all live shows for a long time.

We hope you enjoy this release with touches of folktronica, downtempo, house, and experimental, created with endless love as a musical jewel to delight not only the ears but also the heart and soul. ✨

En ¨Cantos a la madre¨ cada artista presenta una visión del concepto de ¨madre¨ en su propio ¨canto¨, formando una compilación multilingüe que investiga el desarrollo de una nueva música electrónica, en armonía con la tradición lírica de diferentes culturas. Con una numerosa presencia femenina más la invitación a trabajar de forma mixta entre mujeres y hombres, el disco es un intento de llevar la música electrónica un peldaño más allá, rescatando el uso de la voz humana y a su vez, reflexionar sobre este amplio y maravilloso concepto que es la madre, concepto transversal a todos los seres vivos de este planeta.
Invitamos al público a escuchar y colaborar con este proyecto con la intención de que toda ayuda ya sea en donaciones o simplemente en compartir este álbum (que es gratuito!), es en sí una pequeña pero importante semilla para el renacer de este arte y parte de su comunidad. For the 19th EP on Heimlich Musik, Cologne-based producer Dario Klein delivers three gloomy bangers accompanied by remix contributions from JOIA, Samaha, Daniel Jaeger, Kapoor and Matija. Inspired by the unique vibe of the streets of Marrakech and based on live jams, the Djeema el Fna EP tells a story of music as a concept beyond consciousness. Built around melodic lead synths and broken
drums, dark basslines contribute to the mesmerizing aesthetic of the original mixes. JOIA’s interpretation of the title track puts on additional pressure with bass frequencies going right under your skin, while Samaha transforms Djeema el Fna into a euphoric hymn tailored for early morning hours. With an almost criminal bassline, Daniel Jaeger’s version of Rahmos is a housey floor killer. Kapoor’s remix sticks to the vibe of the original but adds a psychedelic touch using hypnotic arpeggios. Rounding up a diverse set of remixes, Matjia’s
version of Rahmos is a dreamy composition with a touch of optimism garnished by organic percussions.

About Koudede :
Renowned Tuareg guitarist and songwriter, Koudede died on Sunday, October 28th of 2012 in a car crash on his way home to his family in Niamey, Niger. Koudede was well-known and respected in the Tuareg music scene for his solo work and participation in the groups Ishumar and Inerane.
Born in Agadez (Niger), Koudede grew up in Arlit, in northern-central Niger, between the foothills of the Ayar (Aïr ) Mountains and the sands of the Sahara. He made his first guitar from a tin can. By the time he held a real guitar, he was good enough to accompany musicians such as Abdallah Oumbadougou (Takrist ‘n’ Akal).
After spending time in Algeria and Libya, he moved to Agadez, known as the Tuareg capital, and in typical nomadic fashion started to travel around the Sahel region, following the calendar of family celebrations and community festivals.
He played for a time with other Tuareg musicians before composing and performing his own original songs. He came to the notice of the public for the first time at the ‘Cure Salée’ festival (‘salt cure’).
Koudede’s music was based on a traditional ternary rhythmic structure originated from the ‘tende’ – the Tuareg drum, which is played stretched across two pieces of horizontal wood. Initially, Koudede used his guitar like the ‘tehardent’ (three string lute), but eventually he took advantage of the full harmonic range of his guitar, developing his own individual style.
Koudede’s lyrics were based in Tuareg poetry, which recounted primarily what the traveler sees around him. Koudede’s songs were arranged in the form of repeated refrains, picking up and developing proverbs, advice or parables over the course of the verses. His songs spoke of young married life; camels; virtues such as patience; children’s games; of distant Tuareg camps and difficult loves. Sometimes there was anger – against cowardice, laziness, corruption or unjust wars.

About this edit :
A friend once told me that our vision of the music landscape is skewed by what is available on internet. We believe that it is a mirror of the music that exists all around us, without realizing that it only hosts the music that major record labels would upload - leaving behind the rich & diverse music ecosystem from smaller & indie ones, that can only be found in record stores around the world. There has been in the past couple of decades an uptick in new labels like Habibi Funk or Analog Africa that would take on the gargantuan task of traveling, digging & republishing those gems - allowing us to discover this music. The credit goes to them. I couldn't be more thankful.

The minute I listened to this track, I was struck by its raw energy & the charisma of the singer. I had to make an edit, anything, that would let me play it alongside my tracks in sets. I've also tried not to take too much away from the voice & rhythm of the original one, while adapting it to a more club friendly format. I hope you enjoy it!

Growing up around Paris, Yasin Hazim learned about music through both his classical music training at the conservatory & his family's Moroccan & Algerian roots. Since very early age Sean got exposed to many kinds of music, from the traditional son cubano and son jarocho played at family reunions to brazilian music and other rhythms that he listened to in his childhood thanks to his father who had always been a traveler and collector. Bonga is one of Africa’s most inspirational musicians and part of the rare type of artists whose art derives its power from social and political upheaval. About this edit :
The song "Nana del Caballo grande" was a theme that came to light in 1979 in the album called Leyenda del tiempo, it is a poetry by García Lorca (one of the greatest poets of Spanish history) skilfully set to music by Ricardo Pachón, introducing the Sitar, which was an extremely rare instrument for this time. This was an album that marked a before and after in the musical history of Spain.
Camarón de la Isla is considered a transgressor in gypsy culture, and one of the first brave people to mix Flamenco with other musical styles. And this remix is ​​my humble tribute to this great artist who opened the door to so much musical miscegenation that was so important to get to where we are today musically in this country, where I have lived my last 12 years and that has welcomed me with so many things to offer.

Bruno Lima a.k.a. Dj Sonorus is a music producer, musician and DJ working with music for the las 15 years, went to Barcelona - Spain in 2009 to finish his studies in Audio Engineering. He set up his own recording studio in 2010 and since then he records and produces and records artists from all over the world in Estudio Sonoro. As a DJ he mixes influences ranging from Hip Hop to World Music, Brazilian to Reggae, Electronic to Jazz, SoulGroove to Cumbia.

In "Cantos a la Madre" (Chants to the Mother) each artist presents a vision of the concept of "mother" in their own "chant", forming a multilingual compilation that investigates the development of a new electronic music in harmony with the lyrical tradition of different cultures. It includes songs in native languages of South America such as Quechua and more unusual musical experiments in German, Ukrainian, Hebrew, as well as many in Spanish, English and more. 

With a large femenine presence plus the invitation to work in a mixed way between women and men, the album is an attempt to take electronic music one step further, rescuing the use of the human voice and, as well, reflecting on this broad and wonderful concept of ¨the mother¨, a concept that is transversal to all living beings on this planet.

All donations on bandcamp will go directly to the artists, heavily affected by the closure of all live shows for a long time. We invite the public to listen and collaborate with this project with the intention that any help, whether in donations or simply by sharing this album (that’s free!), is in itself a little but important seed for the rebirth of this art and part of its community.

Imagine a jungle, a green village and its inhabitants with a thousand languages. Suddenly, in the heart of their sumptuous garden, named Isis, a ceremony begins. For his debut release on Galletas Calientes Records, Dj Farrapo teamed up with music researcher, flute and accordion player Carlo Maver, to bring you “El Cabrón & Papacito“, an EP everyone can feel connected to, merging Latin musical elements, Drum ‘N’ Bass and Broken Beat.
First single “El Cabrón“, released Sept. 24 2021, is a powerful, gentle and fierce Cumbia beat with uplifting Drum ‘N’ Bass breaks, produced and composed with outstanding flutist and bandoneon player Carlo Maver. Usually drawing inspiration from his travel experiences, Carlo plays the Gaita (a traditional Colombian flute) on El Cabrón.
In October 2021, a second single will follow, along with some remixes produced by Intiche, Morru, Caribombo and Dj Sonorus in November.

This track started with a loud arpeggio, trance-like feeling, but I got bored of it at some point, so I kept the arpeggio aside, changed the bass line and added some cumbia punch to it. I imagined and sound designed the intro as if you were standing or seating at your porch in the countryside, by a warm summer night, full of sound. And there you hear the dogs of the neighboring farm barking loud at something. You feel something is gonna happen, you hear footsteps... And then boom, you meet Cumbia. Not the original Cumbia sound, but a sneaky-bassy power Cumbia, infused with trance and oriental sounds... La Cumbia ne préviens pas!

Cosmovision Records presents ¨Elements of These Lands¨

We started as a group of music producers in Montréal, immigrants from Latin America, Europe and friends from Canada, we wanted to reinterpret the elements of this land, from North America such as: nature, native cultures, artistic forms and others. This woke a great interest from artists from all over the world, thing that finally lead to our compilation ¨Element of These Lands¨, in plural, adding a big tribe of friends from all over the world which today are part of our artistic essence, a multi cultural collective.

Our proposal is to make music that evokes respect and consciousness about nature, which understand our cultural differences as a great value for us. We look to go beyond the act of pushing buttons to create digital music, on the other side, we want to inspire ourselves as a collective and invite to reflect about the elements of our land, elements that sometimes western culture forgets, but through art we can analyze, reinterpret and value.

Our first compilation has cultural influences from: Canada, Mexico, France, Chile, Turkey, Belgium, Colombia, Lebanon, Switzerland, Italy and Argentina. 
We want to thank all the producers evolved in this compilation and our artist Mathieu Bories, visual genius of our collective; also everyone who have believed in us and never forgetting you, the people who download and share these voices which are echoes from the land itself, that through artists sing to us to generate awareness of our roots and the elements of our land.

"Pérola Branca is the project formed by the producers @gutopedigone and @mandruvamusic , longtime friends and creators of several underground parties in Minas Gerais, Brasil.
The name means "White Pearl" in portuguese, which came out, actually, from an LSD trip when they both could see a shiny weird pattern though a piece of glass but spent 2 hours trying to describe the details.
After this peculiar process and agreeing they were both seeing an white perl, they realised that they were seeing the same thing but in a completely different way. The Pérola Branca is, after all, the concept of how people see the world through their own lenses, experience it in their own way and, still, are able to have empathy with untranslatable and unique feelings."

About Mari Boine (http://www.mariboine.no/)
She was born and raised in Gámehisnjárga, a village on the river Anarjohka in Karasjok municipality in Finnmark, in the far north of Norway. Boine's parents were Sami. The Sami people, also spelled Sámi or Saami, are the Arctic indigenous people inhabiting Sápmi, which today encompasses parts of far northern Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Kola Peninsula of Russia, and the border area between south and middle Sweden and Norway. 
Their traditional languages are the Sami languages and are classified as a branch of the Uralic language. They made a living from salmon fishing and farming. She grew up steeped in the region's natural environment, but also amidst the strict Laestadian Christian movement with discrimination against her people: for example, singing in the traditional Sami joik style was considered "the devil's work".  Sami languages, and Sami song-chants, called yoiks, were illegal in Norway from 1773 until 1958…in Russia, Sami children were taken away when aged 1–2 and returned when aged 15–17 with no knowledge of their language and traditional communities. 
As Boine grew up, she started to rebel against the prejudiced attitude of being an inferior "Lappish" woman in Norwegian society.
Boine's songs are strongly rooted in her experience of being in a despised minority. She allways give a positive message thru her music, often singing of the beauty and wildness of Sapmi (Lapland). The title track of 'Gula Gula' asks the listener to remember 'that the earth is our mother.  On 7 October 2012, Boine was appointed as a "statsstipendiat", an artist with national funding, the highest honour that can be bestowed upon any artist in Norway.

'' I actually was really fascinated by the vocals of the original, so I tried to find a proper translation but it seems that it’s a lost language so I couldn’t find one. This made it even more interesting for me though. It leaves more space for imagination: Is it a song used for rituals where everybody was dancing and had a good time? Is it a sad song which was performed when something bad happened in a tribe? What do you think? Consequently I tried to keep the edit as simple as possible because I wanted the vocals to be the most prominent part of the track. In my opinion, Cosmovision is the best place for this edit and I’m really thankful for them to share it with you/the world <3 As usual I picked 72 beats per minute, so I’m really excited and curious to see how people manage to mix it in a dj-set. Have fun listening and imagining.

This song is a good example for it. Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

A dear friend introduced me to DakhaBrakha around 8 years ago and there music instantly had a profound effect on me . To me there music is a beautiful blend of all the elements i love in music: Emotion, Groove and Psychedelia. I originally remixed “A Doshchyk Nakrapaie” for my live set a couple of years ago and since then it has lived in many different forms. It's nice to finally share a version of it with everyone.

The Vedas (/ˈveɪdəz, ˈviː-/; Sanskrit: वेदः vedaḥ, "knowledge") are a large body of religious texts originating in ancient India. Composed in Vedic

The Rigveda is structured based on clear principles. The Veda begins with a small book addressed to Agni, Indra, Soma and other gods, all arranged according to decreasing total number of hymns in each deity collection; for each deity series, the hymns progress from longer to shorter ones, but the number of hymns per book increases. About this edit :
I’ve always loved music from Africa, particularly from Mali. However, I had never
heard of Rokia Traoré until last year when my sister sent me this tune insisting
that I would love it; and she was right.
The vocals are not the first element I usually notice when listening to a tune, especially when I don’t understand the language, but this was just something
else. I was immediately touched by the tone of her voice, and grooved by the
overall vibes of the tune. I had never done an edit before and thought this would
be the right tune to try it out with. I chose to leave a big part of the original tune in the breakdown of my edit, to preserve the emotion of her voice, whilst simply playing around with different loops before and after

About this song :
Attracted for a long time by the Sufi culture and its music, after several searches on the internet we came across this traditional Kurdish song: Sipané ”telling the story of a mountains invaded by man and which day after day loses its essence and its beauty. Our musical journey therefore begins with the Kurdish people, the Sufi culture and the superb bands « Miraz » (Turkey). Miraz is a musical project turned on the rhythms of the Middle East and more particularly the percussions. Touched by this group where women have their place, which is rare in this part of the world, we contacted them to offer them the remix project. They immediately liked the idea and graciously gave us the recording tracks, as well as the rights to publish the song.
