With the year 2021 coming to an end, here is my last NDYUKA podcast of the year. This mix is recorded with a rhythmic state of mind. Fast paced as usual but more emphasized to the deeper and sexy grooves. A nice mid day groovy techno set where the simplicity of the rhythmic swing and track selection is the key point of the whole mix.

WINTI DANSI 

WINTI is a spiritual belief which lives under the six ndyuka tribes in Surinam. The dancers prepared their bodies with herbs and are therefore able to dance through the fire. While doing the WINTI DANSI, it is possible for the dancer to go into a trance. The WINTI DANSI is only performed on special occasions. 

This mix is recorded with a closing state of mind. Powerful rhythmic tracks which connects me to my KRAKTI (Powerful) culture. Searching for a bit more edge while keeping consistent rhythms. A bit faster than the other NDYUKA podcasts but never fast for the sake of being fast. 

Just like a WINTI DANSI i love it when people not just hear the music but really feel it. To a point where you could close your eyes and connect with the smallest details without any effort.

Speed Demon's Stuart Cremin has provided us with a fantastic free download today titled 'The Fear'. This fast paced techno tool encompasses a vast amount of depth, swing and atmospheric textures that keeps the listener yearning for more. Fabulous.

Stuart Cremin, who is part of the Dublin based hardcore techno family SPEED, who are liable for throwing some of the craziest parties in Dublin in recent years has supplied us with a flaming hot production filled with fierce energy from start to finish. 

Making appearances at Cellar, Index and Electric Picnic over the last few months, Stuart looks to continue this steady streak with a compelling track that can be found as a free download on the Four Four Soundcloud.

'The Fear' exemplifies a solid approach of a modern techno track that primarily utilises the golden era of techno for inspiration. Polished, driven and forward thinking production technique with a touch of flair to hook the listener in with its powerful groove is a real delight.

Four Four Premiere: Stuart Cremin - The Fear [Free Download]

Starting a Free Download Series, where Singles, available as Free Download, will be be released on a monthly base. Up first is 23 year old Tino Trøster from Göppingen (Germany), who developed a great love for underground techno in recent years. He defines his Sound as hypnotic, with funky synths, Percussive, timeless rhythms and above all, 909 sounds. He got much attention with his first release "Loves no crime", which got supported by DJs such as Rove Ranger, Lyric, Arkan, Gina Dermachi and many more.

Release Info: 
Kaufmann brings her trademark fusion of dark minimal and bouncy techno to Senso Sounds once again with the Ibu 3000 EP. The track is a full throttle techno monster with hard-as-nails drums and equally matched bassline, synth stabs and effects. The track is also presented here via an additional remix by label mate Metodi Hristov which adds another level of tension to the original, bringing out some of the more progressive elements of the track. Kaufmann also shares another original cut, Snorkel Combat, which is a tightly wound bomb that slowly builds the tension across its 7 minutes for maximum dancefloor effect

For 宀’s second release, the Hong Kong label debuts local DJ/Producer, Xiaolin, with her first EP. Echoing a third culture upbringing, the EP spirals down Xiaolin’s journey of internal-discovery. She layers together a plethora of nostalgic influences from retro video games, Lunar New Year and mountain trails. Formally a classically-trained violinist, Xiaolin has bloomed in the electronic music scene with her rich technical toolkit and meticulous sound design.

The punchy four track EP, MIHN002, lifts off with a 140BPM electro/breakbeat track, LANTERNS. Made with mostly analogue gear, the driving baseline persist down a continues tunnel while soaring melodies and romantic chords fly overhead. To wind down the release there’s an ambient mix of LANTERNS, diving into Xiaolin’s intimate side with personal recordings of nature; a fire crackling in the distance and a gentle waterfall.

Xiaolin’s sensitivity draws a bold line through the EP while giving each track the depth and precision to stand alone. LION DANCE bounces into dance floor euphoria with dynamic acid lines and stabs of festive percussion. While, GHOSTRIDER is a speedy race through cosmic space; ethereal pads of ecstasy cut through the great beyond with hopeful notes of adventure.
