Costa Rebel nos sigue sorprendiendo con los nuevos talentos que descubre en redes sociales gracias a su ya conocido #challengeriddim. 

La ganadora del segundo lugar de la tercera edición de este concurso nos deleita con una dulce e inocente voz, ella es Nandy, una joven promesa costarricense. 

Nandy fue una de las últimas participantes en presentar su propuesta, con bastante emoción y ansiedad se atrevió a concursar. Su estilo es muy diferente al de los demás artistas y esto la tenía un poco insegura, el hecho de que en Costa Rica son muy pocos los músicos que han logrado vivir de la música popular y dedicarse de lleno a esta profesión había retrasado su ingreso a la industria, sin embargo fue motivada por uno de sus mejores amigos a participar.

Nandy escribe la letra en un momento de frustración y a la vez decidida en darle una prioridad a la música en su vida, ya que cantar y componer es lo que la hace feliz, ella ve el canto como una forma de expresarse y de conectar con sigo misma, con la realidad, la gente, la naturaleza y con Dios.

“Sigue Escalando” es una canción dedicada a todas las personas que trabajan por alcanzar sus sueños, ignorando las críticas y la negatividad de algunos que insisten en que estas metas no se pueden lograr o no van a darles de comer. 

Nandy nos motiva a ir mas allá y a mantenernos siempre en movimiento, como ella misma dice “Es momento de ponerle atención a los dones que se nos han dado”.
