This song reminds us of our walk and life as Christians on earth here. Peradventure, your pastors are teaching you how to be approved by sinners in this world, but the teaching of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is that, the world hate Him so they will hate us too. Sinners don't like the light because their work is evil, the world despise the old rugged cross which is where every Christian start his or her journey to Heaven from, anyone who wants to be a Christian that the worldly sinners love is not a true Christian. But the joy of carrying our cross while walking on the path that leads to eternal life is that, we will exchange this cross for a crown someday. Don't seek approval of the world, seek approval of God. I pray everyone who is seeking worldliness and wants to be a Christian at the same time remember the work of salvation that Jesus did on the cross, take up your cross and follow Jesus not the worldly ways. Light and darkness cannot meet. If you are a Christian then you should act with consciousness of heaven always in your heart not acting like you are going no where as if the world is all. Consciousness of heaven in our hearts keep us in the fear of God, not like the world who do anything just to achieve success or get money. Children of God can't do that. We live our lives carrying the cross of Jesus, meaning, we choose to suffer if the option to have wealth is sinful and we know we are looking forward to receive a crown in Heaven someday. May God help us. Amen.

Formed by London-born brothers Ben and Tom Vella, Child of the Parish is a project that offers a chance for escape, while still posing those all-consuming questions about time, memory, love and relationships. Sweet Surrender takes its cues from classic house and dance, from M83 to Daft Punk, melding those glitchy, electronic sounds with more organic elements of indie, disco and funk. Ben and Tom’s DIY attitude was inherited in part by their family’s musical background: both their granddad and their two great uncles worked in orchestras. Ben started out playing classical guitar before picking up the electric, and going on to find a variety of session work. Something of a renaissance man, he did everything from play the Arabic oud on a documentary about the war in Afghanistan to contribute disco riffs for a Kylie Minogue album. He and Tom—by this point an assured producer and DJ in his own right—joined forces, and picked up early attention from tastemakers such as The Line of Best Fit with their ambitious audio-visual debut. Having worked with such revered figures as remixer/producer Ewan Pearson [Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Goldfrapp], Child of the Parish felt confident on Sweet Surrender in self-producing. In a twist of fate, though, they ended up being aided by award-winning mixer and engineer Shuta Shinoda [Hot Chip, Spiritualised, Daughter, Ghostpoet]. On Sweet Surrender, Child of the Parish have alchemised bliss. Give into it.
