That's what the founder (Christian Buß) says about his little  Baby when he tries to describe it. Based in the Heart of Cologne, Cotton.up is a result of the insane Club Scene of Ehrenfeld and the tons of love for individual Electronic Music. Both paired and a "What Next" Feel is the main task of Cotton.Up. After a long period of "overly distorted Dance Music" and "reproduced Club Sound" there is a vacuum of freshness and innovation, which needs to be filled. That's the point where Cotton.Up attaches. This young label enables innovative Talents their first step into the big jungle of music business without losing the status of Independence. With the focus on the local motion they are trying to transfer this movement to a bigger audience. After all this is to say: "It could be dirty or clean. It could be washed or bleached. But it is never ironed.
