After six inimitable EPs ranging from blissful pop to slow burning house, Frank&Tony, aka Francis Harris and Anthony Collins, the creative force behind the boutique label Scissor and Thread, break new ground once again with their debut full length, "You Go Girl.” Reflecting the spellbinding vibe of their monthly "Punch Drunk Love" residency in The Panther Room at Brooklyn’s Output, “You Go Girl,” marks the duo's turn from their pop-driven work with proteges Bob Moses towards a grittier, analogue, club-centric approach. The result is an enduring slice of true dance floor magic that nods to Basic Channel, Detroit and New York house while rolling along effortlessly for nearly an hour. Highlights include "Bring the Sun," an achingly elegant ode to lost love sung by frequent label contributor Gry Bagøien, as well as the catchy house roller “Resistance,” which features Jason Poranski of Beirut. The November 17th digital release of the album is to be preceded by a three part vinyl version, (the individually titled “You,” “Go,” and “Girl,” EPs are due October 20th, November 3rd and November 17th, respectively,) with an alternate track list heavy on DJ-friendly dubs and exclusives including the sprawling thirteen minute, “Companion,” a collaboration with DJ Sprinkles that has the indescribable feel of an instant classic.

Info: We’ve been meaning to put out some music by our friend Harald ever since we started this wee operation five years ago. Imagine our joy now that we’re ready to release not one, but two masterful records signed Mr. Björk! Fritids EP sees Harald bringing his top game to Studio Barnhus: starry-eyed pop melodies, dusty machine riddims and the Maestro’s sweet trembling voice, all synched up (sort of) and ready to tell us stories of imperfect love, blossoming Nacka gardens and bicycle rides on wet gravel. Also on this record: Suzanne Kraft jammin’ harmonic on the remix, Malin Gabriella Nordin straight up slaying it with the artwork. This is the first ever release from Meditation Tunnel, the new electronic music project from former The Rapture frontman, Luke Jenner.

Luke shares a room in Joakim's studio in Brooklyn and they have been working together on Luke's upcoming solo material. Besides writing music for his solo project, Luke has started making house and techno tunes under the name Meditation Tunnel as well as collaborating on a side-project with Dj Tennis from Life & Death.
