The prequel to a mix i've been working on for about three months which will be titled "Acceptance of an anxious mind". The second instalment is by far the most demanding musical assignment I have undertaken which I think will be the best thing I've ever done.. once I'm finished.

As the driving force behind Strange Town Recordings, Indigenous artist Bryan Wolf Ear is a champion of the underground. Under his guidance, the label is responsible for introducing some of the brightest up and coming names in progressive house music. For over 20 years, Bryan has honed his craft as a DJ, sharing the stage with artists, Booka Shade, Miss Melera, Pole Folder and Isolée. In addition the Canadian born and Montréal native holds a residency at the world-renowned Le Salon Daomé and hosts a radio-show ‘Strange Town Frequencies’ broadcasted monthly on Proton Radio.

Ruhrpott grownup electronic musician and sound-designer, Torsten grew his portfolio with plenty outings on labels such as Platipus, Mango Alley, PHW Elements, Sudbeat, Afterglow. Delivered professional sound-design for big names as Native Instruments, Waves and Zenhiser. Even more and over a long time he produced tons of remixes, and more to come.

Mixmag Adria joins forces with Simulation Records to deliver monthly podcast of high quality music and energy, featuring various artist from the label and more!

In the 5th episode mix is crafted by MEL7EM (@mel7em_official)- music artist creating ethereal storytelling electronic music rich with melodies, feelings, and emotions that re-writes the dictionary of electronic music.

His music is a mixture between today's modern techno sounds and deep exotic melodies pulling out some of the MiddleEast's forgotten gems, and other ethnic world music, namely the rich sounds of India, Egypt, Persia, Turkey, Armenia, South America and many more. He manages to fuse these sounds with his love for electronic dance music creating an original showcase between the old and the new, classic and underground with whispers of spiritual undertones, a progressive bassline and a hard groove that will take you on a shamanic journey.

Oliver Koletzki never fails to take listeners on a sonic journey, from his beginnings in hip-hop production through to house, techno, and afro-inspired electronic music. 
This organic, upbeat set was recorded at Scorpios on September 18 and is the first of a series of recorded sets from summer 2020 at Scorpios.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series!

We are kicking off 2021 with an old friend of ours: Valeron

Generally recognized as the top DJ on the island of Mykonos, Valeron is definitely one of the longest standing and most omnipresent figures of the ever-shifting local music scene.

Soon after relocating to Mykonos, he became a producer releasing tracks that helped register his name in the Deep House and Electronic genre. This carried him through to becoming a founder of the Bercana Music label and releasing 2 personal albums already “Amare” & ‘’Aigaio’’. Valeron’s albums introduce a unique combination of traditional Greek instruments and Electronic beats.

Every Saturday at Scorpios Mykonos Valeron leads ‘’Scorpios World’’ where he performs live alongside Greek musicians of instruments such as the clarinet, violin, Ney,Bouzouki, Saz, Oud,Santur and many more. With lots of originals and remixes that had climb on top of Beatport charts, on May 2019 he will release his third personal album.

JFUN is the DJ/production project of Jordan David. His musical output combines funky rhythms and four on the floor beats that create a moving celebration of sound while playing a wide range of sonic soundscapes that resonate with the human soul.

JFUN has established a name for himself in his hometown Ottawa, Canada as a DJ, producer, curator and general force of nature that displays a consistent growth and musical evolution. Having developed a unique sound, style and connection to the groove over many years of performing in DIY spaces, night clubs, galleries and festival stages both as a musician and as a DJ. Sharing bills with international acts such as DJ Sneak, Niko Schwind, Djuma Soundsystem, Ollie K and local heavy weights such as Trevor Walker, Rick Laplante, BALU, Martin Villeneuve, Blake Sutherland, The TIMEKODE Crew, Jesse Zotti, Return of the Jaded and Rise Ashen just to name a few.

Embracing his ability to transfer a refined melodic and rhythmic perspective that capitates listeners and lights up a dance floor. JFUN has managed to cultivate a path for his artistic expression that is taking form as he progresses on his musical journey. This being the result of a deep passion and love for dance music culture and community that is undeniable. 

JFUN is currently focused on exploring and crafting new sounds on his premiere mix series, ‘DIVISION’ while also curating upcoming releases on his imprint: Music.Art.Ppl, a Canadian music and art collective / label that he co-founded in 2016.

COTU was born and raised in the Far East of Russia, but always felt like a Citizen of the Universe. Guided by a deep curiosity and hunger for adventure, he set out on a journey that took him to Thailand—where everything changed.

It was New Year’s Eve 2016 at the SIMIRAM Festival on Koh Phangan, his very first electronic music festival. The dancefloor was a wooden platform suspended above the sea, facing a giant rock where vivid visual projections lit up the night. As the first sunrise of the year began to rise behind the horizon, a magical scene unfolded—beautiful women performed a fire show atop the rock, while a violinist linked up with the DJ, weaving haunting melodies into the beat. In that moment, surrounded by rhythm, light, and connection, COTU felt the true spirit of unity and freedom that lives on the dancefloor. That morning changed everything.

His journey brought him to the United States. It was there, during a difficult chapter of life, that he began DJing—not for fame, but as a form of therapy. The music helped him heal, and now, through every mix he creates, COTU tells a story. Each set is a journey—through emotional landscapes, introspective moods, and moments of ecstatic release.

Since then, he's played coast to coast—from underground warehouse raves in LA and iconic Clinic Wednesdays, to Minimal Effort at the Globe Theater, California's Deseract gatherings, festivals in the Mojave Desert, Bombay Beach,  and the legendary Burning Man Playa (House of Love, Luna Art Crane, Camp Dacha, PG Squirt House). He’s even brought his deep, storytelling sets to Do Not Sit On The Furniture, the beloved Florida-born event series.
