Ibiza End Summer Party

Song about love as a shelter against inclemency of life (translated lyrics below).

By means of some weather sounds, I oppose precise dark parts to more colored ones, with serious work till 3:25 when I had fun jamming, so you can skip to 4:20 & enjoy great outro !!

Clarinet was borrowed from my sister for summer practice. Reed & keywork managing is difficult for a beginner, & home cohabitance was set on serious risk, but with painful effort I got something presentable, or so I hope, as not willing to repeat soon...

Axel sent me a tune he had and said " can you do anything with this ? " So I contacted Charlotte and the 3 of us created this super alternative Country song , we do hope you like it ! Well after this one everything is nearly completed but nothing actually is , if you see what I mean , 2 songs with Axel , one with Charlotte , and one with Dave Cooper , who is sunning himself on a Med cruise at this moment in time , lucky bugger ! The figure of the protagonist himself makes the music somewhat dark, an effect achieved with a synthesizer from the DRC app that I have not used many times.

First track of a new album where I'll try to be more eclectic, with closer approach to some genres. Experimented on this one over-editing vocal line on the left, and getting midi files out of organic guitar melodies, which I could play with virtual instruments. I hope you'll enjoy a different Ruizzoid shape.

Dedicated to Germán Coppini’s ‘Golpes Bajos’, one of my favorite groups of the Spanish ‘Nueva Ola’.

I had been really wanting to make new music with Calebass. I have been making a lot of songs that lean more heavily toward hip hop the last couple years and felt like heading back toward the direction of my earlier years on SoundCloud. Luckily Calebass was willing and ready and the music flowed easily and steadily. Jon did an amazing job adding an element of jazz with his bass and Janine really awakened the psychedelic spirit and Age of Aquarius with her vocals. It was extra bonus to have both Sinfields participate in this song making this a real SC family affair. Lyrically, I was inspired by the children’s book, Ox-Cart Man, which I love, and all the felt mouse toys I recently made for my cat at my daughter’s request.
