i think the abstractions, marketing, and accoutrements beyond the actual art have led too many people astray and chasing bullshit

and people who are all on the "marketing is art" nutsack, that just feels like cope for your lack of still or taste, which I'm sorry only one of those you could maybe affect with enough practice to marginally raise the other, but even that is uncertain
