Dreams was recorded in its entirety during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic over the course of 2 months. The spacial separation of the band during that time found its way into the musical character of the track, which itself deals with the feeling of isolation through experiences of disappointment in life and love and the uncertainty of trust towards the world.

Without a doubt, the current crisis the word is facing has found its way into the conception of Godspeed. Just like Coumarin’s previous single Dreams, Godspeed was entirely recorded and produced in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic.
