Originally we made this edit just to cut for a dubplate and to send Riz La Teef..(in the hope that he would want to cut it too). He ended up cutting it and playing it over the last few months, which has always been a bit of a bucket list of ours.. so big up Riz! 

As there was a bit of a mix up with CWR002 Digital..(dropping next week), we thought that we would give you this one to make up for the delay, and as a thank you for the support on CWR001 Digital which is still in the top 100 after 4 months!

We've decided to give this track away as a big thank you for the continued support on the Council Work sound! After hitting No.1 in both the Juno and Deejay.de UK Garage charts this weekend with our 3rd release, the Militant EP, we thought that it would be a good thank you to every who's been supporting the label. The Prodigy have been a huge influence on us and on the whole dance music scene in general, this has always been such a massive track to both of us, we always wanted to have our own edit to play out when the time was right. We initially hoped to be playing this edit in our sets at gigs we had been booked for recently, but as that is unfortunately not possible right now, we'd still like you guys to be able to enjoy it! Thanks to everyone who's been supporting our music so far. Big love

The coming together of two people from different corners of the globe can often spur incredible and unique results. The journey of Council Work frontmen Tom Frankel & Dayne Harper speaks volumes for that very instance. With Tom growing up in West London and Dayne originally coming from Zimbabwe, you already have a potentially boundless pool of cultural influence as far as music is concerned. The duo comes equipped with an interesting story, one that follows an unconventional path but has been the catalyst for what is quickly becoming one of the most prolific pairings in the UK’s underground electronic music scene.

With a sonic palate inspired by a plethora of revolutionary artists from genres spanning Garage, House, Jungle, Breaks, Drum N Bass and Hip Hop; Frankel & Harper are carving a delectable path into the underground with their infectiously varied audio signature. Championing a delightfully unparalleled ‘sound’, the duo is the end product of several years individually bubbling up through London's club circuit combined with a relentless work ethic and seemingly limitless studio hours.
