„Cone The Weird“ beschreibt seinen Mix wie folgt:

Anti-Summer-Songs 2021 ist ein Mix, der dieses spezielle Jahr (bis zum „Sommer“) musikalisch illustriert und als Rettungsanker in der vorherrschenden Dauertristesse dienen mag. 2021 war schon auch ein Suckerchen. Beginnend mit einem Lockdown der sich Monat um Monat auf unbestimmte Zeit verlängerte, gefolgt von Euphorie durch ein vorläufiges Lockdown-Ende und die Aussicht auf einen Sommer mit Wiedersehen, Mitmenschen und überhaupt wieder mehr Leben in der Welt, hin zu einem dauerregnerischen Jahreszeitenhybriden, der mit wildesten News wöchentlich zu entgeistern wusste. 
Grund genug um auf alle Welt zu pfeifen und zur Rettung der eigenen Stabilität eine illustre Sammlung kunterbunter Häppchen zu kredenzen, die Laune machen und jeden gediegenen Indoor-Sit-In zu einem Eskalationsrave in gestalten lassen. Headnodders, Bootyshakers, Footworkers, Chill-Outers… all included <3 Spread love and do better.

„Cone The Weird“ beschreibt seinen Mix wie folgt:

„Es sollte ein vielschichtiger Mix werden, dessen Bestandteile eine Bandbreite an Genres, Tempi (50 bis 150 BPM) und Jahren (1974 bis 2020) auf dem Buckel aufweisen. Als roter Faden eint die Liebe zum Bass und immer wieder auftauchende Anlehnungen an Ambient, wie beispielsweise flächige Synths oder (Field Recording) Noises. Eine Sammlung an Tracks die an Genregrenzen kratzen und diese aufzulösen vermögen. Die ungewöhnliche Situation des Lock Downs bot die Gelegenheit etwas tiefer in der Sammlung zu stöbern und nach außergewöhnlichen Tracks zu suchen, die ich bisher kaum oder gar nicht in meine Sets einbauen konnte. Dennoch stehen sie für meinen eklektischen Stil. Die Stimmungen der letzten Wochen, zwischen Ruhe, Euphorie, Sorge, Besinnlichkeit, das Tanken von Kraft und dem Wunsch sich wieder draußen ausleben zu können, dienten maßgeblich als Inspiration für diesen Mix. Auch ein Blick in die Liste der Tracktitel verrät viel über die Dialektik des aktuellen Lebens, zwischen Licht und Schatten. This live mix was recorded on March 30th at the "Sektor Heimat" venue. A great location in a run down fabric building with one of the greatest decoration ever seen. The organising (c'est dur la culture) team was working six weeks to transform an old dirty hall into a church/temple themed dancefloor. 
CONE had the pleasure to iniciate the night with a 2 hour set loaded with beat, bass, rap and odd music. Here is the first hour. Amen!
