Augusto Taito, a young talented producer from Argentina, delivers 'Data Fluids', a notorious Latin influenced techno EP, released on Ucker. A record with a deep tribal feeling in its core structure. Opaque and groovy baselines are the main ingredient of the subtle tone of his tracks. Combining gentle usage of noise and percussive elements with a futuristic approach to the melodic section, Augusto manages to craft a feeling of being entranced, as possessed by a spell. Ricardo Garduno's version of 'Through Fire and Water' has the most pounding low end to surf through the cosmic waves of the immersive melodious loops he adapted perfectly and this is the track we premiere today on T.O.P, a dynamic, organic techno track with unexpected sci-fi textures, creating the sense of imminent mayhem.

WR016 - ALIEN CONNECTIONS VII (PREVIEWS)

Born and raised in Thessaloniki she started her music career in 2012. Annē is a promising upcoming talent fully dedicated to techno music and focused on developing her career as a DJ & composer. Starting as a raver she began to think of music like something extremely experiential.

Her sets are powerful & pumping with never ending dynamics, focused on the perfect interaction with the crowd. As for her music productions she is sharpening her sound having strong references from Detroit while she is trying to print her inner feelings into her tracks.

Being a local artist and resident DJ of executive underground projects in her city, she has shared the booth with some of the most notable international & local artists.

In August 2020 she released a very successful EP ”Fairy Dust” on Out of Place Records, a label run by Insolate & Volster, which immediately made her name whispered. She made a bigger step to the music scene while her music has gained massive and diverse support, from artists like Amelie Lens, Answer Code Request, Marcel Fengler, Pan-Pot, Insolate, Volster, Camea, Anfisa Letyago, Joris Voorn & Patrick Mason, just to name a few, charting and playing her tracks very often.

In 2020-2021 she became a resident radio producer on Paranoise Radio, a local web radio, while she participated as a guest tutor in Insolate’s online Masterclasses.

Upcoming:
With strong releases on Out of Place, Ben Sim’s Label Symbolism and Soma records she is keeping it up with more music while she signed to release a second EP on Out of Place with remixes from Alien Rain & Insolate & also another EP on Symbolism this year.
According to Athens Voice magazine she was voted as the best DJ in Greece for the year 2019.

Annē’s point of view is that a DJ is never greater than their audience. This is a unique situation where the dancer becomes part of the whole setting of the music being played. In this, her role is as much part of the audience as the dancers. Basically, she always has one foot on the dance floor and one in the booth.

Counter Pulse is proud to present the 'The Dish' EP which is the first collaboration of two of Australia's most passionate techno talents, Advanced Human & Trinity.

The duo have delivered two hard-edged dance-floor cuts for this release. First track 'The Dish' is a hypnotic banger with a raw warehouse energy anchored by no-nonsense 4/4 drums. The 2nd track 'Splinter' locks you into a groove with minimal industrial textures and dark dub-focused stabs.

This EP also includes impressive remixes by scene stalwarts Headless Horseman and Mary Velo.

Headless Horseman contributed an explosive remix of 'The Dish' which takes us down a sinister wormhole with the dance floor in mind. Headless Horseman is known for making raw and abrasive dark techno and is one of the most talked-about techno artists of recent years. Having predominately on his own label, we are very fortunate to have this very rare remix from him on the EP.

The Toronto-born, Berlin-based artist Mary Velo is no stranger to the Elektrax family making her 12'-debut on Gynoid Audio with her 'Master Mind' EP. She has also released music on esteemed labels such as Semantica and Diffuse Reality and also performs in highly respected clubs such as Berghain and Tresor. Mary's stripped back version of 'Splinter' takes the track in a deeper direction, a slow burner laced with flowing atmospherics and melodic overtones.
