Opening with the titular track, ‘Wave’ is a gentle creation, which radiates positive energy with a soft bassline, soothing piano chords, and warming synths bringing those absolute summer vibes. Emanating a melancholic atmosphere, ‘Guardians’ is closer to previous characteristic tracks of his - a slow-burning production that blends vocal samples with a sublime instrumental arrangement, resulting in a poignant slice of music.

Geddes has been a pioneer in the London Warehouse house and techno scene. Throwing his Mulletover parties since 2004 within the city, Geddes has been lucky enough to play with a whole host of world renowned DJs.

Geddes has toured extensively performing at some of Europe’s most influential underground clubs including Panorama Bar, Watergate and Robert Johnson, plus a residency at Space Ibiza among his many DJing accolades. Meanwhile he has been equally successful as a musician, releasing on numerous labels, including Mobilee, Truesoul, Leftroom, Tsuba together with his own imprint murmur.

Richy Ahmed is firmly established as one of the top DJ’s at the forefront of British house music at the moment, consistently re-defining the scene, taking cues from disco, techno, funk, electro and hip-hop. Playing a major part in the renaissance of British House in recent years which has given rise to a whole new breed of DJ’s and producers, Richy Ahmed is a driving force behind this resurgence of home-grown talent.

Now, Geddes is back on Adam Beyer's Truesoul with his latest EP combining all the intricacies within his rhythms to create a flowing and creative selection of tracks that will keep the dancefloor swaying. With the help of Elli, the title track ‘On the Streets’ is a late night groover that has also been reworked by Richy Ahmed to take it down another twisted avenue.

Today, we proudly premiere Richy Ahmed's reworking of 'On The Streets'. The Hot Creations' adds a truly late night vibe to the already haunting track.

Marques Wyatt is an ambassador of house music for the West Coast and a cornerstone of electronic music in Los Angeles since the 80’s. His Om Records classic ‘For Those Who Like to Get Down’ (originally released in 2002) was loved the world over and championed in London by Ben Watt and Jay Hannan (at their legendary Lazy Dog nights), in NYC by Little Louie Vega and Kenny Dope (at the infamous Masters at Work), in Chicago by the likes of Frankie Knuckles and Derrick Carter and of course in San Francisco by the likes of Mark Farina, Miguel Migs and Kaskade.

Now, 13 years later Marques continues to spread his brand of aural love in Los Angeles, and through touring the width and breadth of the United States and other continents. He globe trots everywhere from Los Angeles to New York, Shanghai to Barcelona, and Tel Aviv to Dubai with the mission to bring musical unity, love and celebration of life to all souls in his pathway.

Joining him on the remix duties are future stars themselves; Soul Clap and Click Click.  The Soul Clap Remix injects the original vocal sample with an extra dose of funk laced booty shaking deep house. The flip Acid Smoothout mix takes the groove into even deeper and heavier territory. Not to be outdone, Click Click builds on the vocal loop into a funky deep house groove that’s perfect for ripping up dance floors. Finishing out the package is the original Deep Sunday Retro Vibe Mix that still sounds great 13 years since people originally got down to it.

As we reported a while back, on the album front this Spring is one of the hottest in recent memory with a series of much hyped extended studio efforts announced or set to arrive as the temperature begins to thaw. One of the most anticipated here at DT is that of Grammy Award nominated Londoner Mat Zo who has revealed that his sophomore album, Self Assemble, will be landing courtesy of his Mad Zoo.

"Self Assemble" is the follow up to Zo's Grammy nominated debut album "Damage Control", which peaked at no. 7 on the Billboard Dance charts and made the top spot on their Heatseeker Albums Chart. Drawing on everything from electro-funk and 70s disco through trance to 90s pop and dubstep, "Self Assemble" endlessly blurs boundaries to rhapsodic effect. Born from Zo's initial ambition to write a film soundtrack, the album is boldly cinematic in both scope and feel.
