We’re delighted to finally share with you PROXIMITY III, the third instalment of our annual Pure Space compilation series. Across the 19 tracks, 22 artists find synergy across the spectrum of experimental electronica.

Creeping through deep d’n’b, blisteringly fast idm, and percussive club cuts across to bass laden experimental music, blissful tech and peak energy techno, we hope this release provides an access point for all electronic music lovers to explore the depths of the so called ‘Australian’ subterranean music landscape.

100% of proceeds will be donated to Aboriginal Legal Services; based in Redfern it is the first Aboriginal Legal Service in Australia and the first free legal assistance service in the country. www.alsnswact.org.au

Ariel Soler (aka Demian, Ariel Me Llamo, B.H.S, formerly P. Lopez) has been a beacon of creativity, collaboration and community spirit in the Paraguayan music scene for over two decades. Recording as Demian, the four-track ‘Recuerdos’ EP is the second release on Ed Davenport’s new Globuli label.

After building up a close connection with Ed’s prolific Counterchange imprint, with several stand-out techno releases over the last five years, Soler dons his House cap in earnest and delivers the first of several EPs slated for Globuli.

The Asunción-based producer and Tango club resident hands in four remarkable cuts of technoid prog-house, oozing with acid, breakbeat, early trance and dark-disco undertones.

this week's mix is from Charlotte Rooney, a dj based in Naarm, Australia. Charlotte's energetic presence and proggy sound has made its way into almost every club in Melbourne and is making a significant contribution to her community through her events series and radio show, Deuce, co-run with Ambedo. this little slice beyond her usual into the experimental realm is something very special; expect abstract, leftfield sounds with rhythms of the drum & bass, dubstep, techno and breaks varieties.

Robbie Kitt is a Dubliner whose heart lies in the local community. Together with Sunil Sharpe he’s a frontman for the ‘Give Us The Night‘ campaign, striving to preserve Ireland’s historic nightlife and electronic music culture.

As @rkitt the melodically inclined producer adorns his uplifting house and techno with his own (vocodered) voice and stacks of bright, musical ideas. For his debut for Globuli, ‘Don’t Stop (Ever Being You),’ Robbie delivers three original tracks drenched in shimmering summer vibes and a crisp modern house sound.

Label curator Ed Davenport reworks the title cut, ‘Don’t Stop’, with a tracky, acidic mix tuned for night-time dancefloors.

They're a London-based DJ with a deep passion for psychedelic dance music. Deeply rooted in the underground music community, they've been shaped by the conflict between city life and forest parties.
