Tapes

Born in 1986, lulled by the 80s tones, David Body began his little DJ career with italo disco influences in 2007.  Surfing the wave of nu-disco, with projects like Pleasure Machines and La Disco Mafia before starting a solo career in 2014.

Resident DJ at Le Cadran in Liege, he has relished sharing the desk with the biggest names : Miss Kittin, Booka Shade, Etienne de Crecy, Mr Oizo, Jennifer Cardini, Yuksek, The Magician and Charlotte de White...

His ears, now ready to compose their own take on the synthesized 80s italo sound, he launched his discography in 2020 with the Belgian label Kadett Musik - Other releases have since followed on Endless Music, Ripe Pear Records, Jane Musica, Mélopée Records, Full Flight Records, Discoscuro Factory Records.

...and he does not intend to stop there.

Been A long time since I dropped a Vinyl-only set. Was going well till I played one of my all-time favorites 'Moscow Risers' which is an exceeding worn-down record as a tram went past resulting in a massive skip fail. Also, the start of My 'Blackstrobe Chemica Sweet Gril EP' always skips a beat so that mix-out is a bit hectic as well!

Is what it is. All part of performing live with vinyl!! Left it in as it's just the way it goes ;)

Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. This can be applied to our music policy, tilting the vertical axis resulting in a sharp area of focus without reducing the depth of field. The selective focus that can be achieved by both tilting and shifting movements, It's compelling because the effect is different from that which you may have become accustomed to. This movement is often used to avoid the convergence of parallel lines, or as we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur.

Based in Paris, Sapphist Eye is a DJ since 2018 and began producing electronic music in 2021. A fan of new beat and techno sounds, her music revolves around a universe at once powerful and sensitive.
In April 2023, her track “Exist Everywhere” was selected to be part of the 2nd compilation of the lesbian collective Barbi(e)turix, bringing together 18 artists and sponsored by CHLOE. In November 2023, she signed her first EP as a duo with Naominitel on the Les Disques du Lobby label, shortly before her first solo EP to be released in February 2024 on the Lumière Noire label.

In the obscure realm of music, a veiled figure lurks under the alias of Tunnel Signs. Hailing from the expansive landscapes of Australia, Ash Moses embodies a paradox – a devotee entwined with shadows, a warrior amidst the cadence, and a sentimentalist navigating life's dissonant melodies.

Tunnel Signs, with an inclination for plumbing the sonorous depths, emerges as a herald of auditory enlightenment. His amalgamations, weaving reverb-laden postpunk, trance-inducing techno, and the spectral echoes of disco, mirror the intricate layers of human consciousness.

Having etched his presence onto esteemed imprints like IOHYOU!, Clouded Vision, and Cut Copy’s Cutters Records, Tunnel Signs basks in acclaim. Together with collaborator Barney Kato, their eponymous EP on Berlin’s Cashminus label stands as a monument to their sonic prowess, earning accolades from luminaries such as Skatebard and Paul Woolford.

Recent forays witness Tunnel Signs unveiling the mesmerizing "Milan Cricket Club" on Air Signs Records, lauded by stalwarts including Steve Bug and Silicone Soul. Furthermore, his synergy with Sydney’s DJ luminary, Reenie, begets the enchanting EP "Amirite/Zero Sum" on the venerable Motorik label, solidifying his stature as a luminary in the electronic realm.
