Podcast section continues to grow, and today we have the pleasure of sharing a beautiful set that an admired colleague recorded for us, who has been helping us with the diffusion of our music from his premieres section on SXDNS. Thanks @celestinobr and enjoy his mixtape!

Brazilian based in Germany, Celestino defines himself as "just a dinosaur playing music for love since 1992". As a producer, he has released on acclaimed labels such as Emerald & Doreen, Nein, NUFF MUSIC, Quixotical, Maleante, and Espacio Cielo, just to name a few. He has worked as the curator of the rising platform Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space (SXDNS) @sxdns since 2018.

Today we welcome Laau Pama -  Hailing from a small town on the outskirts of Stuttgart, she brings a dark and analogue style to the series, reminding us of those times when techno and electronic music matured.

With a fascination for music at an early age and producing tracks from as young as 16 years old, she went on to discover a love for electronic music...Two years ago she finally made the switch from the dancefloor to the turntables and the scene is all the better for it <3

Realising quickly that she wanted to incorporate the sound from her youth into her sets - she loves to embody Indie Dance, Dark Disco, Dark Techno and Synthwave into her mixes, galvanising her performances with elements of the 80s, synthesizers, analog, crazy sounds and disco

Counterterraism Guest Mix 112: Laau Pama

With works released on vital labels such as Ombra Int, Rotten City, Critical Monday, Playground, Esthétique, Roam, Aeon, among others, veteran producer Paco Jiménez aka Silicodisco lands on Espacio Cielo with a powerful EP. For the occasion, he decided to return to his Synthwave and Indie Dance origins delivering two well-crafted originals that offer an insightful journey through his collection of synths. For the remix duties, Slow Motion’s kingpin Franz Scala and Oberwave’s co-curator ETANE brought interesting interpretations.

Also known for his long and successful career as Paco Buggin, Silicodisco is the result of a cocktail of inspirations that range from Post-Nu Wave and Synthwave to Indie Dance and even EBM. The Madrid-based artist skilfully combines darkness with groove in his productions and the outcome is always a piece devoted to the dance floor. 

The track we were solicited to review/premier, “Mind Loader”, is a true retro-futuristic journey in which Paco brings together mesmerising cosmic melodies provided by a Jean Michel Jarre’s theremin-like coat combined with trippy pads and stunning synth layers and leads. A must-have release for the Indie Dance/Dark Disco lovers out there.

Mad Slow in a project originally from Oaxaca, Mexico by Ricci OJ, seeking the diffusion of sounds, atmospheres with low graces and strong highs.  Ricci, through Mad Slow, transmits to the Mexican electronic scene a vibe of energy, harmony and happiness. 

He is part of the roster of the Mexican Veneno and Controlla labels. He has released music on both labels and mixtapes with born in Mexico (Ibiza Global Radio), Controlla (Mx), Veneno (Mx) any many more.
