The first episode of our Ismcast series for 2020 has been delivered by Hamburg based DJ and producer Vuuduu! She has been active in Hamburg's techno scene for many years. Together with her collective, she organises events like re|fuse and re|source in various established clubs within the city. Musically she moves somewhere between Acid, EBM-Techno and Trance and plays regularly as resident at PAL. Her latest productions have been released on the Hamburg based vinyl label "ohne kommerziellen Wert".

Vault Sessions #011 - Fractions

Fractions is a collaborative project from Russian producers Nikki Korobeynik and Artem Frolov. Together they deliver hi-energy, genre-bending productions with elements of 90s rave, acid and as they say ‘unapologetic rawness’. A sound which no doubt is a derivative from their childhood surroundings in the sparse and remote regions of the Soviet Union.

They took it upon themselves to learn music production and were soon picked up by Fleisch Records from Berlin in 2018. The outcome of this collaboration was their ‘Control’ and ‘Scars Of Love’ EP’s. Touring started to pick up, but it was when they were asked to debut for Klubnacht at Berghain in 2019, which was only their 3rdgig of their career, things naturally took off for them. This was a show curated by The Vatican, playing alongside Phase, Fatale, Silent Servant and Barker.

2019 brought a new electro and breakbeat inspired release ‘Constellations’ on Rotterdam Electronix, and then an appearance with the opening track ‘Zero Ground’ on Dax J’s Monnom Black VA, sitting alongside some heavyweights including VTSS, Hadone and UVB.

Bursting in the series with a tyre-screeching transmission to throw the roofs and dancers away into ecstatic oblivion, Prague-based duo Fractions step up with a helluva mind-bending transmission at number 393. Schooled to the shoulder-dislocating, brainwashing sound of ‘90s rave and pure wrathful big-room smashers, the Russian-born duo put on display the kind of hard-hitting, supra-dynamic groove know-how that’s landed them on choice outlets like Rotterdam Electronix, Fleisch and Monnom Black. Tape your windows and barricade yourself, the Fractions typhoon is coming for your lazy, suntanned ass right on cue.

Instalment 27 of our FWP Series arrives direct from North Wales power duo, AEIT.

AEIT have been taking the industrial and hard techno scene by storm over recent years, with releases on mighty labels such as Måinmise, Grounded, THEABOVE, and a huge vinyl EP release on SNTS' label, Sacred Court back in February. 

Coupled alongside their productions; AEIT regularly take the helm at Liverpool's very own 24 Kitchen Street where they've shared the booth with the likes of SNTS, Kusp, and Surgeon as well as recently making their European debut in Germany alongside Inhalt De Nacht and Parallax. 

With support from the likes of I Hate Models, Tham, Inhalt De Nacht, SNTS, Rebekah, Tommy 4 Seven, and Parrish Smith; AEIT are destined for big things when normality resumes, with a tape release on the horizon later this year and no doubt a return to the dark parties sometime next year.
