Our first premiere of the week comes from French techno producer, Geerson. Geerson, has been causing a quite stir in the techno scene with his straight forward driving techno sound on labels such as Ismus, Arts and Outworld. His new EP on Moments In Time follows suit, as he provides a 4 track releases of powerful yet melodic driving techno.

Moments In Time which has been a stand out label since its inception in 2020 with releases from Hadone, Chlär, NTBR, Balrog, Rudosa and more. For their 9th release they return with relentless French producer, Geerson. Geerson makes his debut on the label with the ‘Undoing Time EP’ featuring 3 originals and a remix from long-time collaborator, Blicz.

The Frenchman shot to fame back in 2019 with the inclusion of his track
‘Eleven Roses’ on Amelie Lens’ Fabric Presents mix, and has gone on to sign music to some of techno busiest labels. As a resident of Paris-based Xperience Collective, he regularly plays across Europe and beyond.

The track ‘No Limit For My Dream’ powers into life with heavily overdriven kicks and a bassline that compels you to dance! The breakdown midway acts as brief respite before descending once more into dancefloor carnage.

Premiere: Ømen - Never Enough [MASSVA01]

I am delighted to present to you my latest release. 'Changement De Soi'. The track has a soft Schranz and Psy-influence with a rolling bass underpinning the kick that is accompanied by a contrasting melody that varies between a melancholic and more hopeful uplifting vibe. There is a clear and constant emphasis on energy throughout the song driven by its groovy percussive elements, dark kick and bass, distorted vocals, psychedelic trance influence, and piercing stabs. The song is inspired by change - an evolution and resurrection of some sort of the self by pushing through adversity by looking within and making the necessary changes to find fulfillment and fundamental happiness.

The VA consists of 5 artists including the likes of our co-founder & resident Ømen with his trademark blend of melancholy feel accompanied by a heavy kick, a sitar solo, & distorted vocals to round off the track. Next up we have the Swedish artist yohan.aif who contributes a strong rave track consisting of piercing stabs, rolling kick & bassline, & an emphasis on energy. We welcome the American producer & artist C:ØDE to our roster with his gritty Industrial track filled with hard groove, a dark transcendent kick, & gritty percussion to seal it all together. Slovakian artist RIØT contributes a heavy metal-inspired belter for those metal heads amongst you with a hard-hitting hardcore kick with a dark undertone, roaring vocals, & relentless vibes. Last but not least, we welcome the Glasgow-based Céleste to our ranks with an emotive track with roots in the trance & house scene. The perfect track to reminisce with friends, to round off a night, or to get you pumped for a fantastic night out.

Ømen (he/him) is a UK-based French/Italian producer and DJ, co-founder, and resident at the London-based label @mass-ldn. With a passion for the darker and harder shades of techno, rave music, and their various sub-genres; his sound tends to depict a raw and aggressive undertone while contrasting this with melodies and a melancholic feel. His music fuses emotionality with relentless energy and explores a range of different genres and cultural influences. He often incorporates hard kicks with a driving acid bassline, rave-infused stabs, nostalgic trance melodies, rhythmic chanting, rattling distorted Schranz, and various industrial percussive elements. Ømen connects people on the dancefloor with music that builds a unique storyline, inviting dancers on an introspective journey into the abyss.
