The show will air the first Friday of every month @ 11am Pacific Time / 2pm Eastern Time. After it airs, each episode will be available as a FREE download online!

The Edge of Trance will showcase the most spectacular and cutting edge Trance music from around the globe; along with the artists who create this music. As the edgier sounds of Trance continue to gain traction in the US as well as abroad, we will take listeners on a journey into the sounds that are driving this revolution in Trance music. The Edge of Trance will feature guest mixes from today's most cutting edge DJs/Artists. Each guest will be carefully selected for their extensive experience in driving, uplifting, and influencing dancefloors locally and abroad.

----> Seattle based producer Magnus has often been referred to as a crossover artist, combining the elements of both trance and psytrance, creating a unique, signature sound for which he has become known for. Magnus's tracks been played on A State of Trance, Future Sound of Egypt, Rush Hour, Global Trance Grooves, and many more. In 2009, Magnus won the Sean Tyas Melbourne remix competition with his Michael Lee remix. In 2011, his first album Signal Strength was released on JOOF. That same year, Magnus began working with Perfecto, releasing a Magnus Dub remix of I'm Alive by Paul Oakenfold and Infected Mushroom, as well as his original track, Velvet. More recently, Magnus has begun working on collabs with Activa, Thomas Datt, John Dopping, Shake, and Sinerider. His EP entitled Render One was released in May of 2014 on Perfecto Fluoro.

Mindspring Music Present: State Azure - Hex EP [MSM011]

State Azure makes his debut Mindspring appearance with a melodic & progressive release, with wonderfully glitchy elements and deep ambiance. Hex swirls with pads and twinkling keys, while its subterranean bass pulls you in, a very hypnotic and eveloving tune. Twin Shape is first up on remix duties, slowing things down and putting a Psychill spin on the original. Magnus is up next, raising the energy levels with his signature Psytrance style - never losing the gorgeous feel that Hex exudes. Transmission is on the B-Side and keeps the EP flowing in the same sort of channel. Much more on the glitchy side with its percussion and sweet little psychedelic stabs, it features the same sort of breathtaking swells and bright plucks. The atmosphere morphs and shimmers beautifully, while the low-end rolls ever forward. Condensspur has chosen to focus on the ambient elements of Transmission and created an elongated intro with wonderful additions, such as guitar, in his remix - A great bookend to this well crafted EP.
