Confinemental

Yesterday we lost a true legend and icon of music. Tony Allen. No-one could infuse such a sense of joy, balance, control, urgency, militancy and FUNK into a simple groove as him. This groove - Afrobeat - is one of the foundations of our club and an inspiration to keep positive, keep diggin and keep playing. 

Here is a tribute mix from resident Chris Astrojazz that focusses on some highlights from his career post Fela Kuti. It is merely a launch pad to discover more. Please play loud and enjoy!
