Even though it has a simple layout, I think it's still an interesting remix that tries to respect the slow sad pace of the original piece.

The sample was 'At The Bottom Of The Night' from Chrono Trigger. Probably marking the only time I called the instrumental the same thing as the actual song name.

Long overdue for a new upload and what better then a new Mother 3 remix!

The last little while has been crazy with preparations for a dance theatre show at the end of the month (Colored T.v.s and Current Moods on May 31st at the C.N.E. in Toronto) as well as making new beats and sounds for you guys.

This time I tried to push myself in regards to the remix, I was really feeling the opening riff of the sample 'A Railway In Our Village!' which was a common motif throughout the game. I tried to capture a more subdued feeling as opposed to the more hustle and bustle of the actual version. What do you think?

Alas I was a bit shy of uploading content the last few days and on my birthday but atleast take comfort in knowing I had an amazing birthday and will keep uploading new content regardless!

I present a throwback from 2010 that I'm not sure if I ever released before or not. The sample is 'Hard Rain' from Mother 3 for the GBA. I always loved the bassline from the original song and wanted to try a more hip-hop oriented version of it.

Throwback: Who We Once Were [Instrumental] (Mother 3)

Last but not least is another sample from Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2). This game is pretty unheard of in North America but it has some amazing music espically for something that came out of the SNES soundchip.

The sample itself is called "Few Paths Forbidden" where I really tried to focus on the syncopation of the song. I really like how it turned out!

Back and better then ever, W.S.R. is back with NEW video game remixes for 2018 (and some original music as well).

First up is a remix of a classic Knuckles Chaotix (32X) song called: "Evening Star". A catchy little ditty that I felt like needed more to it then the 20 second loop that it originally was.

The beat is one of my instrumental remixes called "In This Cozy, Cozy Crib" which is a sample of "Marshmallow Castle" from the game Kirby Super Star (SNES/DS). It has that low-key funk feel to it that is just infectious.

A new video game remix that is short and sweet :D

It's a remix of the 'Desert Theme' from Super Mario Maker 2 (The Super Mario World style to be precise).

I tried to give it this industrial sound like a bunch of people were working hard in the hot sun... Kinda like the weather we've been having! It was also a test a did to see if I can finish a beat in an hour and get it posted within 24 hours. Which I did.

My goal is to get more content up faster and sometimes it's not going up because I'm just sitting on it for no reason. That is going to change.
