Fake Rust is a three track EP that weaves together Middle Eastern instruments, Latin influences, and hints of tribal rhythm.

The title Fake Rust came from a trip I took with artist and dear friend Jacqueline L. Palma and her daughter to the desert in Coahuila. There, we scanned stones covered in lichen. At first glance, the textures looked like rust, but in truth they were alive, quietly transforming the surface of the rocks. That illusion stayed with me: something appearing aged or corroded, but actually vibrant and breathing.

This EP carries that same paradox (raw, percussive, and earthy), yet built for movement, connection, and energy. Fake Rust is a reminder that what looks like decay can instead be growth, and that the dancefloor, like the desert, is full of hidden life.

Mexico City rhythm maestro OMAAR lands on Infinite Machine for his latest missive, Neo Form: five tracks of skeletal, relentless drum workouts. His sound has never been more optimized than here, as if all his usual elements of UK Funky, Hard Drum, Jungle and Techno had been distilled into a powerful, crystalline concoction primed for the dancefloor. 

These tracks are not meant for home listening, but any DJ worth their salt will recognize their immediate power: every last drop of impact and effect has been squeezed from each element, every new hi-hat or hand percussion heightens the intensity of the loop. The tracks are the opposite of progressive; they seem content to stay where they are and placidly explore the grooves’ every crevice and nook.

Estas no son las típicas canciones de club; son potentes herramientas: grabadas con precisión, probadas a presión y diseñadas para arrasar en la pista de baile. Cada pieza fusiona inspiraciones que van desde el techno británico, breaks, baile y techno, grinds, pumps y drills con una fuerza mecánica, fusionando percusión nítida, sintetizadores distorsionados y sudor de almacén.

Desde el primer lanzamiento, WERKSHOP se lanza a toda marcha, fusionando el espíritu áspero de la cultura rave underground con la fuerza bruta del power house.
En WERKSHOP, HEDO HYDR8 se hizo con equipos de sonido de laboratorio de los 70. Utiliza herramientas vintage y analógicas como filtros, osciladores y amplificadores para evocar cinco instancias de energía contemporánea y feroz para la pista de baile.
