The first compilation on the Dresden based label shtum unites three label regulars and one newbie with four tracks suitable for rampant basements.
“Motorcity Racers” has been on rotation for quite some time amongst the label heads and is the first sign from Poland’s Chino on shtum. It floats somewhere between dirty Detroit and the rough corners of the Netherlands. Leibniz delivers the “Real Life”, a relatively straight follow-up to his latest EP, while Jaures hit their drum machines like there is no tomorrow. Perm’s cut is all loopy and succeeds in creating an irresistible atmosphere with just a few elements.

On ACEN010 Sydney based producer Hence Therefore steps out from releasing on his own 3BS imprint to deliver a two track single on All Centre.

A side ‘Waste Frontier’ utilises elastic percussion and torn samples drenched in his signature atmospheric reverbs as it Gradually building from a handful of carefully placed elements into a spacious dance floor excursion. The body of the track melodies and kick drum patterns against each other eventually giving way to an emotive lead melody supported by driving drums.

B side ‘Census Map Museum’ axises around a chromatic melody which bobs around the stereo field as the frenetic percussion builds around it. As the track presses on supporting melodies grow from the main motif creating a web ear worms that carefully jostle amongst one another.

Voici déjà quelques mois qu'elle circule. Une mystérieuse mixtape qui se passe de la main à la main dans les rues mal famées et immatérielles du web. Il se dit que c'est la première d'une série à venir chez Santé Records.
Il s'agit là d'une compilation de titres aux tendances Acid/Expérimentaux que nous propose le label qui, pour composer cette sélection au poil, à envoyé ses émissaires battre la campagne française, poussant même l'exploration des territoires jusqu'en Italie !
Cette compilation est un mélange de têtes connues proches de Santé Records ou
aillant déjà collaboré avec le label, mais aussi de talents cachés dans l'ombre
de leur home-studio n'aillant que trop rarement dévoilé leurs talents au grand
jour.
Une compilation qu'elle compile sacrément bien !

Aux côtés de Kaval, curateur du projet, se trouvent 5 producteurs internationaux avides de percussions endiablées.

Le duo danois Circuit 900 ouvre le bal avec un morceau deep aux accents dubtechno.
High Graid, qui oscille entre Londres et Copenhague enchaine avec ‘Vixen’ et ses percussions tonitruantes.
Notre Kaval propose quand à lui un morceau aux touches acoustiques, a grand renfort d’Agogos.
L’australien Lithe décline quand à lui un UK Funky aux résonnances très futuristes.
Viennent ensuite les arpèges de ‘Cultivation’, morceau d’Ovid, tout droit venu de Washington DC.
Et enfin Recluse, également australien, co-fondateur du label Rogue Cuts propose le track le plus expérimental de la release, intitulé ‘Cyber Valley’.

High Graid, who lives between London and Copenhagen then steps in with ‘Vixen’ and it’s thunderous percussions.
Our very own Kaval dishes out a more acoustic track, filled with Agogo samples.
Australian Lithe delivers his futuristic sounding brand of UK Funky.
Following up are the arpeggios and intense melodic progression of ‘Cultivation’ by Ovid, producer hailing straight from Washington D.C.
