A Sydney-based duo formed in late 2012, Covalent is composer-guitarist Zane Banks and saxophonist-composer-technologist Ben Carey. 

Ranging from the fringe of contemporary classical, through to free improvisation, drone, noise and interactive electro-acoustics, Covalent use digital technology to both reveal and obfuscate the inherent qualities of their instrumental resources.
