Being a production line of carefully crafted composition with a meticulous production standard, Calyx & Teebee have delivered yet again. And after dominating the Beatport Top 100 with their most recent single ‘A Day That Never Comes / Snakes & Ladders’, they won’t be applying the brakes anytime soon, especially in the lead up to their greatly anticipated second album on the Ram imprint.

Back on vocal duties, Calyx demonstrates the pair’s multi-dimensional approach to beat making. With plucky percussion relaying you through bouncing subs and a drivingly solid bassline, it defines their vast repertoire of style. Maintaining its notoriety for only delivering the very best the genre has to offer, Shimon’s AudioPorn imprint is at it again, this time with their newest acquisition, North Base. 

The trio comprising Silver, Splice and Prophecy have been gaining traction steadily with accolades, plaudits and sold out venues since forming back in 2012, and look to have really found their groove both in and out of the studio. 

I Found You follows hotly on the heels of a string of chart-topping releases - most recently the Polarity EP on Viper that registered chart scores in most major territories as well as Trei’s remix of What R U Doing snaking its way to the top of the Beatport pyramid. 

The intention with I Found You is obvious and as a standalone track is captivating from the start with a sultry piano hook lending itself to a myriad of styles, atmospheres and emotions – as we see in the remix package.

Metrik’s highly anticipated second album ‘LIFE/THRILLS’ released on Hospital Records is an exhilarating and flawlessly executed evolution of his signature sound. Under the banner of drum & bass it draws on his love for film soundtracks, synthwave, neo-soul and the Japanese pop sub-genre, Shibuya-kei and includes collaborations with Elisabeth Troy, NAMGAWD, Roméo Testa, Ragga Twins, Rothwell and Reija Lee.

InsideInfo - Real World (feat. Girl X)

YANA Music returns with #002 from its catalogue. Again, featuring label owner Toronto Is Broken but alongside good friend and Luton-based D&B producer Aktive (Viper / Play Me). 

“Run Underwater” lulls us in with a false sense of security, crashing washing, euphoric synths and a soaring topline from Limerick-based vocalist MZKA, who also appeared on two tracks on Toronto Is Broken’s Viper Recordings LP “You Are (Not) Alone”, a familiar voice on his productions.

The track quickly switched to a heavy jump-up style riff and drop that has already been devastating dancefloors across Europe this past six months; a strong riff the crowd can chant along to! There are even some cheeky sound clash samples dropped in there to raise the pressure even higher making this track a true melting post of styles!
