This song is about a person who left their small town to seek new adventures. They thought leaving would bring them happiness, but soon discovered their true joy and home were with the person they left behind. The lyrics talk about how they came to this realization and describe the loneliness they felt while being apart. Eventually, they return to the warmth of their loved one’s 'blue eyes' and embrace. The song tells a story about finding out where you really belong and understanding that true happiness is often closer than we think.

The first music that came under the banner of Cowboy Cadence originated from a highly collaborative and creatively stimulating relationship that was solidly established among a tight-knit group of friends, all of whom were substantively involved in the effort of acting as home-based musicians. Our creation was marked by an uncommon level of intimacy and cooperation, from where we worked closely with one another in not only composing but also arranging and ultimately performing these original tunes, while maintaining full autonomy from the restrictions of what traditionally takes place in a professional studio setting. It is of extreme importance to state that each and every one of these tunes are entirely original pieces that exist as individual and independent offerings from our band; they have never previously been published in any medium, made available for listening by the public, or recorded by other performers in any possible format.
