After I ripped one in freshman English

I’ll set the scene for you now
How I could be such a cow wow
Just finished walking Jessica to class
Little did we know what was lurking in my ass

We all sat down to take a test
The silence was def (echo)
Me in the back row, relaxed at rest
(fart noise) Damn, I ripped one, what a mess.

It’s like time stood still
As everyone looked up from their test
As I sat there petrified, scared to death

Maybe they couldn’t figure it out
Who’s responsible for such a nasty out
Then adam, this anus in the front row
Turned around and made it a show

“Jed was that you?!”
Damn it I’m caught.
My embarrassment grew
As everyone looked at me in the room.

Walking with Jessica after class
I made a joke about my nasty ass
I said, “Did you enjoy my sound FX?”
She looked at me like, what the heck.

There was a fart that I was told
By my wife yo and it never gets old.
Thanksgiving turkey got her system mucked
The smell that was coming from her butt

The setting is during black Friday
This kind of fart makes you run away.

Someone was following her around the store
For about 10 minutes (echo)
Then she dropped a ninja fart
As this person moved into the fart cloud
The perpetrator took a wiff and was out.

Another tasty one that I remember
Me and my wife one September
Swimming alone in a pool
Swam between her legs like a fool

Then came this noise I’ll never forget (wooooopppppp!)
Like an underwater gas jet.
I surfaced, “Was that an underwater fart?”
“You bet it was sweetheart”

This one had impeccable timing
That’s Why it’s mentioned in my rhyming
My step daughter, her boyfriend, wife and me
Playing cards against humanity.

As always we were having a fabulous time
Like the funkiest of funky fresh rhymes.
Boyfriend played the card that said quote
Farting and little came out, unquote

And then he ripped one right on cue.
Aw man, damn.
We all cracked up, it couldn’t have been more perfect
Even if boyfriend was a fart architect.

So those are the most influential farts of my life

This summer I took my 86 year old dad across the country to meet up with folks I hadn’t seen since 1984 when I was 8 years old.

A little background on this story.
About my Dad and his buddy Ronnie.
A couple ball players from the Bronx.
Back in the 50s they would light it up.

In the 70s they coached together
at Stevenson HS in the South Bronx.
Which was ground zero
for the birth of hip hop.

Together they won back to back
NYC HS basketball championships.
Refining their skills and teachin the kids.
Setting their sights on the next level they did.

They moved together to D1 college
at University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Won 2 conference championships during their stay
Than in '84, they went their own way.

Traveling back to the past.
Make sure you got your boarding pass.
Across the country, see old friends at last.
And at the bash raise your glass.

So this summer it was
Ronnie’s 80th Birthday party.
He was holding a bash in Florida
All the way on the other side of the country.

I was like Dad, yo we gotta go.
You gotta go see your old buddies.
So we packed our stuff and
hopped a couple of planes right across the country.

As we walked into Ronnie’s house.
With his family and friends
it was like being in NYC again.

Everybody’s loud, talking at the same time.
With their NYC accents.
Then Russel, Ronnie’s son walks in,
He’s deaf, and his talk is so distinctive.
Instantly transformed back to '84.
When me and Russel used to play together.

The next night at the bash.
I sat with my Dad and Kevin Brown.
One of my Dad’s players from Bronx.
He also DJed during the birth of Hip Hop.

It was enlightening talking with Kevin Brown
who was involved in that scene.
Involved in hip hop,
since it's infancy.

Another old D1 player who attended, Roy Ralston.
A rowdy, big, loud country boy, fit in well with the New Yorkers.
He picked me up almost over his head, shaking me and shouting,
“Jeddy you’re a kid! Jeddy you’re a kid! Jeddy you’re a kid! Jeddy you're a kid."

Traveling back to the past
Make sure you got your boarding pass.
Across the country, see old friends at last.
And at the bash raise your glass.

I remember all these people
As larger than life figures when I was a kid.
Seein them this summer, bein on their level.
That was something really special.

It was like traveling back to my past.
At long last it was actually a blast.

As this old lady saunters down her driveway,

So I hop back in my car and don’t go far.

The animals freaked out and so am I,
But I grit my teeth, try to be a tough guy.

I pull over again, cant’ go any further.
Try to get the little punk to exit my car.
To no avail, he just aint leavin.
I press on as I’m drivin I feel him.

Finally me and the ferret make it to school.
Scared as hell feelin like a cruel fool.
I stop next to Nate the security guard.
Maybe he knows how to get the ferret outta my car.

He calls in for reinforcements.

I was in my old neighborhood near my old high school.
When I thought I’d grab a bite to eat.
I walked into the lobby at Applebees
Looked at the stuff on the wall and what did I see?
Columbia River basketball jersey.

And when I saw that
the bad memories flooded back.
I know the bully who wore that
And how him and his buddies treated me way back.

They bullied me over 20 years ago
Writing this song, I still haven’t let go.
Miles, Adam, Newcomb, and Scott
They were miserable bullies, and I never forgot.

I had a great High school experience
But these bullies were the worst of it
My time spent with them was shit.
When I still think of it, it makes me sick.

As a kid, I wanted to be a basketball player.
I knew all the players and all the teams.
Basketball was wrapped up in all my dreams.
Worked my ass off to become part of the team.

Got to high school and had some good luck.
Made the team where others got cut.
But I was injured, most of the time.
Due to a health condition that kept me sidelined.

But I showed up at every practice.
So I could learn the plays for when I was healthy.
But these four bullies had lots of fun.
Causing misery to the injured one.

These four are the ones we look at.
The good looking, popular ones with the talent.
but some popular kids go bad.
and get enjoyment from making others sad.

All throughout the season it was the titty twister.
They would grab my nipples and twist hard.
This was so much fun, they would laugh.
And revel in my embarrassment.
During basketball season I had the blues.
Around both nipples were a bunch of bruises.

I came to practice with a buzz cut.
Reminded the four of a scrotum nut.
So after that, that’s what they called me.
“Scrode” complements of the bullies.

Now titty twisters and a shitty nickname.
You think that’s just part of the game.
After 20 years I can’t remember all their deeds.
But I still remember how they made me feel.

Like an outsider who was 10 inches tall.
When they’d bully me during basketball.
To them, I wasn’t part of the team.
Had to be healthy and popular to be part of their scheme.

I had a great High school experience.
But these bullies were the worst of it.
My time spent with them was shit.
When I think of it, it makes me sick.

After 2 years of that I’d had enough.
Too many injuries and too many bullies.
I decided to try my hand.
At something new, the school band.

Next year I was sitting in the stands.
With my saxophone in the pep band.
Playing tunes while the bullies played basketball.
Hoping someone would totally FUCK THEM UP!

Our senior year the bullies went to state.
Adam stopped me in the hall full of attitude.
“You didn’t support our team, where were you?”
Some bullies just have no clue.

I write this song cause I never forgot.
To this day it still bothers me.
Maybe they’re not the assholes they were in high school.
Maybe 20 years later their totally cool.
Or maybe they’re still four fuckin fools.

In any event, always to me.
Shiiiiitttt.  They’ll always be.
Four totally miserable asshole bullies.
Who had a great time abusing me.
