A new SSAB edition of Matthew Chalmers's arrangement of the Bee Gees' mega-hit from the movie "Saturday Night Fever," with inspiration by a Yebba performance. This accessible, fun and hard-grooving arrangement has a brief lyric solo feature along with space for a guitar or piano solo with vocal backgrounds. Some texture changes and a bit of reharmonization make Chalmers' take on the disco favorite a sure hit with your students and their audiences!

This Fred Rogers classic from his long-running PBS program “Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood” has been arranged by Kim Lomax for five part a cappella vocal jazz ensemble with a soprano lyric solo. This playful arrangement really swings! The upper four voices often feature tight harmonies with closed voicings, offering a challenge to singers, while remaining fun to listen to. The B section transitions to a jazz waltz and then back into swing for the final A and rubato coda to finish. It is possible to sing this with only 5 voices as the backgrounds are either doubled in the solo or can be woven into the solo line. The bass part is equal parts walking and homorhythmic. All vocal percussion is a written part of the bass line and singable by even a novice to vocal percussion.

Jacob Collier's glorious finale to his epic four-album "Djesse" collection is available for the first time for choirs everywhere to perform!

This setting begins in four parts and builds over the course of six minutes to sixteen parts, carefully organized and laid out in open score (with rehearsal piano reduction), and with dynamic markings capturing the expression of the recorded performance on Djesse: Vol. 4 by The Aeolians from Oakwood University (conducted by Jason Max Ferdinand). The maximum is SSSSSAAAAATTTBBB, with the staves laid out as S1a/b, S2, S3a/b, A1a/b, A2a/b, A3, T1/2, T3/B1, B2/3. The use of "a/b" divisi is due to the fact that the those parts only go to divisi for a new chords at the end of the piece. There is also plenty of part-doubling throughout the arrangement, and this has been carefully considered to aid both balance and voice-leading, although the former is given priority.

Collier pulls no punches emotionally or technically with this piece, which features Bass 3 singing C2 in a few places and Soprano 1 singing D6 in the final moments. Choirs without the lowest bass notes can safely omit them and sing the Bass 2 parts instead.

One of the most popular songs in country music history gets the full contemporary vocal jazz treatment in this rather wild arrangement! Although a dark common thread runs through the whole chart, the chart uses a 3/2 driving bass groove, sudden fortissimo a cappella moments, nearly complete reharmonization, key changes, and about every other arranging technique I could think of to present this well-known song with a melancholy lyric from many different angles, providing a probing challenge for any skilled vocal jazz ensemble and their rhythm section to interpret.
