It Delights me to celebrate the 8th birthday of one of my eldest 'Musical Children'.  Her name is 'Tiramisu'.  Pronounced - Tear - Ah - Mih - Su 

In foodie talk, her name alludes to what one might call a 'Pick-Me-Up'.  ;-)
I named her after the delicious Italian Dessert made of Lady Fingers, Custard, Hazelnuts, and Chocolate!  MMM mnm mm .  

May She "Live Long and Prosper" !

It's a Big Band orchestral Fusion piece with all kinds of delicious phrases, sounds and rhythms within it. Composed over 2 months in 2016 on Saturna Island here, it has some 24 layered tracks, and i trust you'll find it a surprising change from the simple but passionate organic improvs i've been posting lately.  :-D

Here's how composer Francesco Adornetto described it.

"A joyful burst of color and rhythm — Tiramisu is as rich and layered as its namesake. With a really eclectic, multi-genre sound, it blends nu jazz, big band, and electronic elements into a playful celebration that feels both nostalgic and fresh. We must move with the times, of course, because progress generates very interesting and enriching things, but artificial intelligence is not one of them, and it will soon be far more dangerous for humanity than an atomic bomb. Be aware of this and be careful!
