In the stillness of their small apartment, the walls are lined with photographs, newspaper clippings, and scraps of information meticulously collected over months of relentless pursuit. Their obsession consumes them, every waking moment devoted to the object of their fixation. It’s all about you, they murmur softly, their eyes tracing the lines of their target’s face in the photographs, committing every detail to memory. From a distance, they watch, unseen yet ever-present, their presence lingering in the unsettling feeling of being observed. As their fixation deepens, their grip on reality slips further away, until they can no longer distinguish between fantasy and reality. And in the darkness, their obsession takes a chilling turn, blurring the lines between admiration and something far more sinister.

This set of SWWs was written in memory of a wonderful singer, teacher and friend, Diana Walkley. Diana was born in the Valleys of South Wales, so Land of my Fathers is used and a Welsh folktune. I also allude to Elgar's 'Welsh tune' from the Introduction and Allegro for strings

When I write music, I try to go on a journey to feel emotions, whatever they may be.  To me, music is a celebration of life; for all the pain and suffering we may endure, it is a gift to be alive.
