I like the trumpet line on top of the woodwind instruments... and the ending is very satisfying. Good job.

The theme for the 'C' concert horn (more correctly, the trumpet) is beautiful and fascinating in equal measure. Note how it is accompanied, not by brass, but by woodwind. This is extremely difficult to do at all, let alone to accomplish this most difficult feat so masterfully. Difficult because woodwind, esp clarinet and oboe, though flute as well, can become too intrusive when intended to support a C concert horn. Bravo

This is an oldie of mine that languished on my personal page for years, suffering from a poor recording job and ignorant production (both among my common maladies prior to meeting Nat). I asked Nat if she could help me produce my original recording to improve sound quality and timing issues and she came to the rescue. Despite some egregious issues on my old tracks she generally synced it up, replaced my pathetic bass playing and added some sharp vocal harmonies. Along with some general EQ adjustments it has a new face and I’m much happier with it. I wanted to post it as Daniels & Durgy to recognize Nat’s tremendous contribution. The song laments a duplicitous lover and expresses some notable bitterness.
