Created on Ableton using stock plugins along with Element Stereo VST. I had previously signed up to some of the courses on https://www.hypnotictechnoproduction.com which contains 
excellent content, and used some of the free Ableton racks & midi clips in creating this tune.

Uncage, the label curated by Marco Faraone, proudly presents the six-track journey, “The Overtones EP”, a collaboration between Marco Faraone and Yoav Nizri, a rising talent marking his second release on UNCAGE. Known for pushing hypnotic and textural techno, this release showcases their combined ability to craft deep, atmospheric cuts with relentless energy and precision.

“The Overtones” blends rolling percussion, pulsating low-end, and layered melodies, creating a hypnotic and driving experience designed for late-night immersion. “Ralaoci” leans into intricate percussion and evolving synth textures, balancing tension and release with a sleek underground edge.

“Other Expression” carries a warm, groove-driven flow, weaving basslines and subtle melodic layers into a sophisticated club piece. On “Organized Cut”, the duo explores percussive and groove-heavy rhythms, adding crisp textures for refined dance floor energy.

“Torin” layers atmospheric elements and evolving synth work over rolling percussion, building hypnotic tension throughout. Closing the EP, “Enhances” delivers crisp percussion, airy pads, and understated melodic drive, perfect for immersive late-night moments.

Tuscany-born and Barcelona-based, Marco Faraone has carved out a reputation as one of techno’s most respected names, with performances at Fabric, Panorama Bar, and DC10 and releases across leading labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, and Defected. His imprint UNCAGE has become a hub for forward-thinking sounds, with releases from Radio Slave, Mark Broom, Donato Dozzy, and new-wave talents like Anfisa Letyago.

Yoav Nizri, a promising newcomer, made his debut with his Elmot EP on UNCAGE and now takes a bold step forward with this second release alongside Marco. With raw energy and an ear for hypnotic textures, he continues to shape his identity as one of techno’s rising forces.

With “The Overtones EP,” Marco Faraone & Yoav Nizri deliver a cohesive and hypnotic statement, marking another confident step in both artists’ journeys and a powerful addition to the Uncage catalogue.

Monument picked the track Polimorfo by @SimoneBauer: sublimely deep, tribal-infused techno sounds from the rising Italian talent.

Number 21 and we are still alive. Turbulent times for us the dance community with no club scene at all, and no perspective near… but the show must go on and here we are offering you what we consider a balsam: proper techno tunes.

Saurio (@felipeparraga) is a Venezuelan artist based in Bogota, Colombia who has made a brilliant EP called Coordenadas for us. 

Starting with the futuristic Unnamed X a hi fidelity exercise made over a relentless groove. Full of micro details, carefully crafted with an hypnotic structure, perfect for mind and body.

Unnamed Y shuffles the groove, relaying over the continuous synth line spiced with multiple percussive elements. A dance floor weapon in the whole sense.

Unnamed Z keeps the pace with a clear drum pattern with proper sub’s action to start with, soon followed by funked up sequences and randomness. A proper groover.

Unnamed V follows the same stylebook, hypnosis, pristine sound design, pressure and tension, spiced with expert sound details that come and go.

As a goodbye, Unnamed W releases the pressure and goes into deep realms, the BPM rate decreases, textures and pads appear and the overall feeling goes more spacey.
