In recent years, Just Her has deservedly carved out a niche as one of electronic music’s go to producers, with a sound and style full of emotional depth. It has seen her release tracks on a slew of notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground, Anjunadeep, Circus, Sincopat, her own Constant Circles imprint – and of course Selador, where she makes a welcome return with this essential double header (fresh from having a track featured on Sasha’s acclaimed Luzoscura album we might add).
A long-time lyricist and topline writer, Just Her is now increasingly adding her own vocals to her productions. “It’s not easy sharing something as personal as your own lyrics and vocals with the entire world, but hopefully I’m creating something people can connect to.” That Is most definitely the case with ‘Will We Ever Learn’, whose words are very pertinent to the turbulent times we are currently experiencing, bemoaning as it does the mindset of “closing doors and building walls” that is stunting progress and pushing back against hard-fought for freedoms. The low-slung musical backdrop is suitably stirring, hitting that sought after sweet spot where melancholy meets uplift.
“I just want to move people in the way music moves me” is one of Just Her’s guiding mantras, and it’s very much mission accomplished with second cut ‘Away From Here’, which is edgy yet emotive, moody yet melodic – just how we like it.
Just Her will be joining Selador’s Steve Parry and Dave Seaman, and the inimitable Danny Howells, for the launch of our Seladoria club concept – all roads lead to London’s E1 club on Friday September 24th.

Miami based DJ and producer ERAN HERSH teamed up with SANDHAUS, the duo also appears as such for selected international gigs. Everytime Eran and Sandhaus perform together the atmosphere of the club is very special, they have the rare ability to create an anticipating tension and a fulminant peak.
Their first collab track comes as no surprise. An epic melodic house banger unfolds it's beauty with some kicking beats and synth stabs and slowly introducing Sandhaus' distinctive vocals that float on top of the music like a a boat on the water.
Get ready for more promising music from these two artists. Soon on this label.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue rounds out the month of July by welcoming Forty Cats back to the label for her debut EP. With well over a decade’s worth of DJ experience, Russian artist Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats has been a fixture of her country’s nightlife, sharing the stage with Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Yotto, Dave Seaman and more. Christina’s production debut landed three years ago via 8bit Music, and in relatively short order the Russian artist has gone on to release projects via Lane 8’s This Never Happened, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Mango Alley. Also finding a home on Sound Avenue, Forty Cats opened the year with a remix of ‘Dreaming Home’ by Eric Lune, before going on to re-imagine Nopi’s ‘Hookan Idyll’ a few short months later. Now as we enter the year's third quarter, Forty Cats returns to Sound Avenue with her first EP project entitled ‘Forest Beast’, alongside remixes from Berni Turletti and Weird Sounding Dude. 

Providing the first remix of ‘Forest Beast’ is Berni Turletti who makes his label debut. Perhaps best known for his releases on Or Two Strangers, Higher States, Sudbeat Music and The Soundgarden, Berni Turletti brings a unique energy and perspective to progressive music. With the backing of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, the Argentinean artist has been tipped as one of the genre’s future stars. With a 2021 highlighted by projects for Droid9, Plattenbank and Mango Alley, the Cordoba resident now adds Sound Avenue to his resume with a gorgeous rendition of ‘Forest Beast’. Berni sustains an understated yet confident club energy, reshaping the groove into a funk-fuelled delight, while creamy piano’s fade in and out of coherence against a backdrop of evolving textures and enlightening vocal fragments. Looking to bring further emotion to the narrative, the main break melts down to an array of incandescent melodies, planting gentle splashes of serotonin across the one-minute interlude, before ultimately giving way to a soothing finale.

In early 2017, Michael A debuted on Proton Music with the outstanding "Bright Hope". Full of his trademark craft and vision, Particles now revisits the EP with remixes from two North American artists.

Adopting the contracted, Dezza, for his scintillating work, Canadian born, Derek Silvester, is an artist with an exceptional production pedigree. Able to call upon Above and Beyond, Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk as fans of his music, Dezza has found his tracks allied to a host of blue-chip imprints that include Colorize, Black Hole and Silk Music. Over four-hundred production credits to his name with a plethora along the Silk road, original EPs that include 2014's "Meekix/Derry" and 2016's "Brit", continue to place Dezza firmly on the industry map and the heads-up-display on the globe's top DJs. 

A debut remix for Proton Music in November 2010, reworking Mango and Kasuza's iconic "Asphalt Lines", is now complemented with a standout remix of "Seven". Intelligently taking the groove foundations central to Michael A's original, Dezza's skill is to rework them into a sonically charged offering that builds with spine-tingling momentum and trademark melodic skill. As elegant as it is effortless in execution, the resultant work is a track that generates a new direction based on the themes resonant in the original with a cornucopia of additional production material, rich harmonies and rhythmic flair.

Chicago born but now firmly ensconced in his adopted Greek homeland, Savvas Karabinos, has been involved in the dance music industry since the early 1990s. A renowned DJ and the host of numerous open-air parties, Savvas' work with Yosebu in 2000, under the name Acropod, witnessed a full-length album for Klik Records. With over a double century of production credits to his name since 2010, Savvas has continued to find his work valued by the finest modern underground imprints. Thus, Ready Mix Records, Motek Music and Submarine Vibes continue to extol the virtues of the prolific producer. Indeed, it is for the latter that the deep vibes of "Monsoon" can be heard alongside a remix from Jelly For The Babies for "Haunting Melodies".

Reworking the title track from Michael A's EP in a debut for Particles, the Savvas remix of "Bright Hope" is a deliciously deep offering that revels in rich percussive flow as shakers and wood blocks provide a rhythmic backdrop for evolving melodies to develop unencumbered by weight of expectation. Reminiscent of Jean-Michel Jarre with its cascading delayed motifs and soaring chord progressions, Savvas turns in an innovative new remix that intelligently reworks Michael A's components into a new and dynamic piece.

As Andre Sobota continues to shake global dancefloors with his genre-defying music, Proton Music opened 2017 with the sublime "Concluded". With a trio of high-calibre remixes already showcasing a breadth of talent, Particles now picks up the mantle with a further triumvirate.

Krzysztof Kotlinski and Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz are no stranger to the upper echelons of the underground dance fraternity. Under their Cream and Deep Fog guise the duo have over a century of production credits to their collective name with work signed to such luminary imprints as Electronic Tree, Soundteller and Aethereal. Furthermore, a clutch of credits have found their way onto Particles, not least in original work that includes the outstanding "Neverland" EP, and the "Kiki" and "Shantaram" tracks for "Summer Particles 2014". Remixes of GMJ in February 2016 and Kastis Torrau and Donatello a year later are now joined by an intelligent reworking of "Concluded". Subtly using the melodic themes of the original within a deep, evocative bass line, it stands supreme in a stripped back breakdown, surrounded by shimmering counterpoint motif. A wealth of additional production material extends the melodic flow and a laid-back rhythmic casing plays an integral part in the aptly named "4am Remix".

A new collaborative pairing making their presence felt, LADS, combines "German finesse and precision with South African groove and soul". Thus, Luc Angenehm and Deep Suite are a powerful duo. Responsible for a century of underground techno and house jewels, Angenehm has already found his way on to Solid Shape, City Life and Proton Music, with the latter accounting for the landmark "Kaiserkraft" and "Isabel" EPs. Similarly, Deep Suite has seen his work featured on Atal Music, Crevasse and his own eponymous imprint, while the duo have come together only once previously, with the track "Abgehn", part of the "Tour De Traum XII" compilation in mid 2016. Now debuting on Particles, the LADS remix of Particles is a deep house gem that glitters with magnificent use of Sobota's central melodic riff as it filters in and out of proceedings. Accompanied by emotive chord progressions, sustained bass line, seismic kick and elegant spot effects, the LADS remix is art in sonic form.

Hailing from the Buenos Aries capital, Sebastian Busto, continues to ride the crest of the sonic wave through his unique and distinctive production work. Renowned for his "dreamy atmospheres" and "elegant progressive house", the Argentinean's classical piano training has stood him in good stead as his work has found a home on a plethora of blue chip imprints. Balkan Connection, MNL and Massive Harmony Records have all helped shape Busto's success alongside the monthly "Religions" show on Proton Radio. September 2016's three-track, "Nature" EP, saw an explosive debut on Particles and now a 2017 rework of Desaturate is followed by a second remix. Creating a sublime rhythmic groove with stereo-spun hi hats and rolling percussion, an intriguing combination of new melodies play upon the themes inherent in Sobota's original, emerging in a rousing breakdown. As arpeggios and new bass line work their magic, Busto has created a highly original interpretation of "Concluded".
