Now Slash is the one person who made me fall in love with the Les Paul and had the biggest affect on me regarding learning guitar.

This is part 1 of 3. This is about all the hell my wife and I went through with a certain person, who had angenda of his own, to control, manipulate and destroy anyone and everyone he could. He took no prisoners including his only child. 

A completely toxic horrible little viscerous person. This was a hugely cathartic exercise,  and this song plus the two follow up songs 'Liar' and 'Disdain' are part of the process, that finally helped to heal me. 

It has been some 15 years or more, but things stay with you and if not addressed consume and overwhelm you. This all came about as I needed counselling following watching my dear mother battle cancer for longer than anyone thought possible last year, finally succumbing.  My rage and anger fostered into something unjust. I needed help ... 

I became angry and past intusions came to light. I finally sought help.. My counselor said I should write a letter or something similar to exercise the demons within that I had held at bay...or so I thought. So, I wrote three songs, building in intensity and feeling each time. 

I know that we are not alone so I hope someone else can relate and maybe take a small measure of comfort from these songs.
