Myd, Yung Prado & Laurence Guy | Cracki Station

The first reaction of the majority would be « They’re crazy ! » when seing for the first time Mainline Magic Orchestra’s show. Founded by Nile Fee, John Heaven, JP Sunshine and Daniel 2000 with its trademark high energy pace and zaniness. The release of their first EP called Tettsui in 2021 drove them from the Empordà to the top of the dance floor. Through 4 tracks, the album offers 2 types of ambiances. The first one with its Ibiza’s 80’s style and the other one with its striking melodies thoughts for the dance floor. 

The Barcelona quartet knows how to gather their passion for house music with a hint of humour well-delivered and surprising.

Camille Lockhart aka Ecran Total is a DJ and actress. When she leaves a theater stage for turntables, it’s for sharing a journey, fueled by all the influences that have built her. Her eclectic, warm and surprising selection has one goal: bring people together, and make the party a joyful and inclusive show.
Recently we could see her at the Primaverasound Festival in Barcelona, ​​on the roof of the Philharmonie de Paris, and on the bill with Jayda G, Paul Johnson, Kings of Tomorrow, Folamour, Fasme... as well as on Nova Radio in Dance O Drome by Yuksek, and on the show entitled « Get A Room! ».
In 2020, she starts to think of a musical, visual and theatrical artistic performance « Plein Feu », which aims to merge her worlds by mixing DJset, video projection, audio extracts and theater.
This hybrid and theatrical show aims to reaffirm the place of electronic music culture within the cultural landscape.
On the other side, she is also works on a podcast version of this format, and offers parallel forms for other radio stations (Petit Bain x La Mairie de Paris, Noise Spreading, FEAT, or Ola Radio) and festivals.
A nightlife and stage actress, she is also an author and artistic director of the Second Mouse company with which she develops her live performance projects, at the crossroads of theatre, music and dance. (Coming soon: Le Jour met des nuits à se lever & Teatro Jangueo : block party)

The French house scene has witnessed a flourishing of talented female producers and DJs, and Mira Ló is undeniably one of them.
This Paris born artist with dreams of Chicago is driven by her mixes and
productions that effortlessly blend nu-disco, house, and tech house.
She has secured her place on the rosters of esteemed French clubs such as Rex Club, Badaboum, Virage, Slalom, and major festivals including Marvellous Island, Insula Festival, Madame Loyal, Cabourg Mon Amour, or Les Insolentes.
Sharing stages with luminaries of the industry like MCDE, The Magician, Dimitri From Paris, Terrence Parker, and more, she holds her own among the giants.
In 2022 alone, Mira Ló amassed an impressive thirty performances, captivating audiences with her infectious sound. Her initial releases on renowned labels such as Pont Neuf Records, Happiness Therapy, and Amsem Records have further solidified her position as an artist on the rise.
Her debut EP "Memories" came out in April 2023, with Apple Music featuring her in their Women In Electronic series.
This serves as further evidence that Mira Ló is unquestionably one of the artists destined to shape the future of electronic music for years to come.

Sunaas | Cracki Station

Standard Records was founded by the duo composed of François Giesberger (François Ier) and Baptiste Malgoire (B.R.U.M.E.). It is thought as a space of freedom for sound but also for visuals, as the two friends devote themselves daily to the field of visual art and scenography. 

After meeting Annie Ohayon, ex-publicist of Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson among others, Baptiste and François work on a first live, blending their respective musical productions.

Nearly three years after the release of their first album, "Cycle I", noticed and playlisted by Bicep, the duo Standard returns with a four-track EP, soberly titled "Comma", thought as a punctuation introducing the second cycle of releases from Standard Records. If the previous opus was built around 9 resolutely progressive titles, "Comma" breaks somewhat with this contemplative dimension and takes on a much more immediate character.
Although the whole of the EP is imbued with a Break and Acid character, and provided with a resolutely UK identity, the omnipresence of vocal samples from hits of the 90s and 2000s, gives it a much more pop dimension and suitable for dancefloors.
"Comma" is notably composed of a title in two parts, "A Place", i.e. two reinterpretations breaks from the hit “All the Things She Said” by the duo t.A.T.u., one with very strong melodies; the other darker, deeper and minimalist.
The title “Precious” uses vocal samples from the essential “Waterfalls” by the group TLC, adding an R.N.B color to this new opus.
Finally, “Need Somebody 2”, galloping at 160 bpm, is carried by a sample of voices with Ghetto House accents.

B.R.U.M.E is the solo project of Baptiste Malgoire, half of the duo Supernaive (formerly Joy!) led with his brother, Lucas.
After a first EP in 2017, Dazed and Confused, from which is extracted the much noticed Opal Waltz, clipped by Vincent Tsui, the duo reiterates in 2018 with a second EP Lions & Pigs, then in 2020, with a first album, Nekomata, all in full with the label Shlo Music.
On the sidelines of this project, Baptiste has always been keen to design more personal tracks, not corresponding necessarily to Supernaive's "pop" approach and intentions.
Thus, B.R.U.M.E defends an analogical and progressive music, with english accents, which one finds throughout its first album, Unknown Phenomena, whose been released in November 2021.
Recently noticed by the Istanbul label Sitdownanddance, B.R.U.M.E integrates the second part of the compilation The Auditory Perception of Idiosyncrasy.

Great music is often about chance meetings and impromptu creative sessions and so it is that Hell Yeah proudly serves up Sensory Blending, a new collaborative album from Italian collective Aura Safari and Finnish musician Jimi Tenor. The nine-track record arrives on 3rd May 2024 and is a lush and luxurious fusion of jazz-funk styles.

This glorious record came about after Tenor was playing a Hell Yeah party at Tangram in Perugia. Aura Safari were local and, in some free time the day before the gig, everyone jumped in the studio together. They had never met before but soon found plenty of free-flowing common ground and the result of that one-off session is now served up on this vibrant new album that brims with musicality, indelible melodies and subtly uplifting vibrations.

Tenor has toured the world and previously collaborated with the likes of Japanese master Calm. He is a psychedelic space-jazz-funk king, skilled musician, composer and producer who, since the mid-nineties, has released more than 25 albums and 45 EPs. Aura Safari is made up of bass, synth, guitar and keys players Lorenzo Francioli, Ruggero Bonucci, Nicola Pitassio Andrea Moretti, Lorenzo Lavoratori, Daniele Melloni and Nicholas Iammatteo, and they are label regulars who served up their sublime Island Dreams album here last year.

Says Jimi, who enjoyed his time in Perugia and adds that "the studio session was 100% efficient. I showed up and we started to play. Almost all that was made was material that we could use for the album. I love to work fast. Quick brushstrokes. Finish! I was amazed at how intuitively the Aura Safari guys could come up with new parts for songs. I mentioned some feeling or approach and they seemed to find it just like that.”

'Bodily Synesthesia' is the seductive opener with steamy sax notes and gentle grooves that are topped by aloof vocal whispers. 'Lunar Wind' is another slow and steamy mix of jazzy keys and soulful vocal hooks, 'Bewitched By The Sea' is a more tropical and percussive number with majestic melodies and 'My Bluebell' picks up the pace with jazz-funk grooves and hustling chords. 'Last Waltz In Perugia' has freeform sax lines soaring over meticulous drums that ebb and flow and 'Gimlet' brings a playful, samba-tinged rhythm and sunny flute leads straight from South America. There's a laidback, carefree mood to 'It's Too Easy To Love You' while 'Your Magic Touch' is a dancey number that exudes melodic joy, and 'Indigo' closes in dramatic fashion with a conversational sax that sticks long in the memory.  

Sensory Blending is a seamless fusion of collaborative minds from Aura Safari and Jimi Tenor and it could well be performed live at some special select shows later in the year.

World Of Twist w/ Moving Still - Radio Buena Vida 25.05.24

He's back. After a break that felt like an eternity, @Cuthead has finally awoken from his creative beauty sleep to check up on his home base Uncanny Valley with his new album THE DETOUR. To avoid overexciting everyone’s attention span, the album is spread over four parts. And he's definitely not coming back as a cheapskate since the album is full of gifts that true Cuthead fans desire. In other words, he does what he does best: Blasting out slick tracks that oscillate between laid-back underground hip-hop, sample heavy house and vintage acid, but with enough surprises along the way. The tracks were created over the last few years, including some jams from his live set that he made while travelling or in a hotel.

As soon as the typical cozy, warm chords kick in during the INTRO of The Detour Part 1, you immediately feel at home again in Cuthead's world, where it's always Saturday afternoon and laid-back jams drip out of the speakers (at least on two of the four parts). On top of that, Chester Watson from St. Louis (one of Cuthead's absolute favorite rappers) provided a feature. With his distinctive voice and dreamy flow, Chester explains in not one but two versions of PROCEED how to carry on and stay relaxed despite adverse circumstances. TOUR DE FRANCE, on the other hand, is a trapstrumental for the masses in which a hi-hat thunderstorm is intertwined with a wind sample that constantly twists around itself.

The second in Cuthead's tetralogy is what we can certainly call a house monster. It starts with a track named after one of Cuthead’s special skills: MPC JAM. With its filter attacks and unmistakable drops, the track builds on Cuthead's great house floor fillers, leaving no ass standing still. SUNDAY 5 PM enters the floor like a bird of paradise with room-filling disco strings, before SPACED OUT follows with Theo Parrish-like grooves. MIDNIGHT ROUTE closes The Detour Part 2 with broken beats and an unusual but irresistible electronic bassline.

The opener of the third part once again praises the old promise of the House Nation, not without ZUBU being refined with the very own Cuthead spin, which definitely puts the track on a techno floor as well. POWER ACID lives up to its name and comes across as a classic warehouse acid screw that takes every rave to the edge. Understatement is also not required with PARTY LIKE IT'S 99. After all, every Saturday afternoon is followed by a Saturday night and a piano house bomb with a little ounce of acid always goes down well on such an occasion.

The final chapter of THE DETOUR opens promisingly and in typical Cuthead style with the aptly titled BONKERS and the kind of weirder head-nodding beat that only the Dresden resident can squeeze out of his samples. In LISOLEIL, Malone the Chemist drops his lines over what feels like an aquatic jazz foundation. Cuthead spotted the Canadian rapper when he posted a freestyle under a tweet from Flying Lotus. After that, the snares are turned up again in the sample fest that is FOXY. OUTRO is almost epic by Cuthead standards and could easily be the soundtrack to a modern giallo film.

The album is accompanied by beautiful animations created in collaboration between illustrator Robert Deutsch and animator Tobias Kramer.
