The first mix I ever uploaded on Soundcloud was from Freezerburn 2020, so now I've come full circle with this latest mix 5 years later. This is also my first 90 minute mix, which is fitting.

Our Austin TX friends did it again, hosting an amazing sound camp called Dry Ice. And true to the name, Freezerburn was freezing the whole time we were camping out there, ending with a climatic effigy burn. Dry Ice had a heated dome though, so we were nice and cozy dancing the weekend away :)

This set also evolved through several events, starting with Adriana's Bday party in Austin TX at 60 minutes, and then Ascension's New Year's Eve Psytrance party in Denver CO where he asked me to play 90 minutes. And finally at FreezerBurn this mix has reached its full power. Hope you enjoy!

Melodic Full-On Psytrance at FreezerBurn 2025

Music is the heartbeat of the soul.

Colin AKA Craeter has been in the Psytrance community since 2015. While living in Lubbock, TX, he discovered his love for Psytrance when his friends took him out to Dallas for his first Atrium Obscurum event.

Since there was *almost* no Psytrance in west TX, he decided he would learn to mix and help share this unknown sound with his fellow Panhandle people. Under the tutelage of the most underground of warehouse dwellers, The Balance, and his trusty friend Frosty Panda, he learned how to hone his love for this music even further through DJing. 

Craeter moved to Colorado in June of 2020 and has since been an integral part in the local Psytrance community. He has both created and played at numerous gatherings alongside his partner Violet Psyflower. With help from Gigantic Co, he crafted a full blown main stage for Hot Nonsense Festival, the only mountain Psytrance festival in Colorado summer of 2022.

With high hopes for the continuation of a flourishing psytrance community in Colorado, he continues his journey into sound. Won't you come along for the ride?
