A veces, nos encontramos frente a cosas que parecen desafiar toda lógica, que nos hacen cuestionar por qué son como son: su sonido, su tamaño, su forma, su aroma, su sabor. Son como anomalías en la realidad, algunas de ellas tan maravillosas que nos hacen reflexionar sobre nuestra propia existencia, mientras que otras parecen estar fuera de lugar, aunque necesarias para mantener un equilibrio.

Y luego están esas otras anomalías, las que la sociedad nos ha impuesto: cómo pensamos, cómo nos vestimos, cómo actuamos, nuestro color de piel, nuestra estatura, nuestra complexión, nuestra voz, nuestros sentimientos, incluso por lo que no sentimos. Nos hacen sentir como si fuéramos seres fuera de lo común, simplemente porque no encajamos en los moldes establecidos. Cualquier cosa que hagamos parece confirmar nuestra condición de anomalía.

A veces, las mayores y más perjudiciales anomalías son celebradas, se vuelven históricamente relevantes, pero su legado puede ser devastador, ya que erosionan nuestra identidad y nos hacen sentir inferiores. Nos frustra sentirnos impotentes ante estas grandes anomalías, incapaces de corregirlas. Sin embargo, aunque no podamos eliminarlas por completo, podemos iniciar un cambio, sembrar una idea que despierte y motive a las futuras generaciones a comprender que ser una "anomalía" no es malo.

Ser diferente no es una maldición; de hecho, es lo que evita que todo se desmorone. Es hora de abrazar nuestra singularidad, de reconocer que la diversidad es lo que enriquece nuestro mundo y nos impulsa hacia adelante.

In honor of an iconic bar located on Route 38, between the cities of La Falda and Huerta Grande in Córdoba, Argentina, El Plvybxy @plvybxy and ROOi @r-o-o-i present 'LA BOCA DE TIGRE'. This title evokes not only a physical place but also a space filled with deep stories and emotions, serving as a tribute to a time that left an indelible mark on their lives.

The creation of these tracks took shape after three months of rehabilitation and recovery in the serene town of Villa Giardino, beyond Huerta Grande. This retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowed them sincere introspection and reconnection with their essence. During the phases of detoxification, by the second month, El Plvybxy and ROOi found themselves immersed in a state of mental clarity that enabled them to approach their art from a new perspective.

The distance from urban routines and dance floors provided a unique opportunity to explore their creativity without restrictions. This introspective journey led them to rediscover their roots, those early encounters with music and nightclub culture, where they learned to mix and immerse themselves in extended dance sessions.

Now arriving at a point of inflection in these post-pandemic times, with the global recognition and trend of Latin American club music, or as some call it, 'Latin club,' they questioned the expectations and labels that might limit their artistic expression. Why not experiment with acid and its derivatives? This question became the catalyst for creating their new tracks, "Karina" and "Bety." Without seeking to please any particular niche, they simply followed their musical instinct.

'LA BOCA DE TIGRE' thus becomes a tribute to their beginnings, the DIY culture, and the dance nights that defined their youth. With a mix of rhythms that pay homage to both the South American nightlife scene and the influences of Chicago, Illinois, this EP offers a unique interpretation of Acid, Acid Sudaka. El Plvybxy and ROOi not only celebrate their roots and evolution but also invite us on a sonic journey that blends the beautiful and the dark aspects of their experiences.
