Craig Adams

Production and DJ duo Beat Rivals, John and Kevin are fast becoming heavyweights in the Soulful House arena with their consistent releases, London based production duo Beat Rivals have had release successes across numerous labels.

Constantly evolving, the duo draws upon their influences of Drum and Bass, Funk, Garage, House, Jazz, Jungle, Reggae, Soul and Techno, to create contemporary music with a variety of different flavours. This innovative duo is destined for success with their exciting and refreshing approach to music production.

South Londoner John grew up in an eclectic music-loving family. Catching the production bug as a teenager led to a string of releases on several underground labels. Even on these early releases his laidback demeanour was noticeable

Hailing from East London Kevin started producing music as a teenager whilst gaining recognition as a DJ and building a following that enabled him to DJ all over England including a residency in London's West End.

Introduced by a mutual friend in the early 90's the pair discovered they shared a common passion for music. It was not until they became mentored by Karl "Tuff Enuf" Brown (Double Trouble, Tuff Jam) at his "Groove Skool" that the collaborations started with each drawing on their individual skill and influences and using their friendly rivalry to push each other.

In 2011 the duo formed Rival Beat Records. Since then the duo has gone on to work with some of the finest vocalists and musicians in the scene including Angie Brown, Lifford, Natasha Watts, Tasha LaRae, Vanessa Freeman, Ernie McKone, Gene Perez, Michele Chiavarini, Mike Patto, Ernie McKone as well as featuring releases form Opolopo, Sean McCabe and DJ Spen.

Happy Sunday folks! Have we got a scorcher of a show for you tonight. It's a big family get together with our beloved Craig Adams first up on hosting duties.

Craig is an established DJ & radio show host on House Nation on Radio Satire bringing you banging house & nu-disco every Saturday. Craig is so supportive of his fellow DJ friends regularly making long trips to support them in various locations. He's a top bloke and sure he'll get the party started this evening.

Our Italian brother, Mauro Vecchi is back with a spectacular episode including a guest mix from Rome based veteran, Massimo Voci.
Massimo Voci has been a DJ and producer for 30 years. He spent his life at Radio Capital (IT) where he produced various radio programs, including his saturday night show "Adventures in a Disco", the daily immersion in the great classics of funky/disco and soul have forged him for his sets and productions. He has his own label, Black Moka Recordings, and his name has appeared in the billboards of Italian and international clubs and festivals (Worldwide Festival by Gilles Peterson in FR / CH edition, Greece's Shapes, Umbria Jazz, Villa Medici, Cavo Fest), and in concerts by giants of music such as that of Genesis at the Circo Massimo, or with the Chic in piazza del popolo in Rome. He teaches at the Master in Radio at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples. Putting his hands spinning in different genres from disco to house passing through global beats, his sets have no limits! You can find him heating local and international clubs and festivals' dancefloors during the weekends. Born in front of the sea in Calabria, he grew up artistically in Rome, he can't stand still and when he is, he paints.
