This recording was done at "Red Brick Studios" Adelaide SA over a couple sessions... a collection of folky, bluesy, roots based orignals (plus a Robert Johnson cover of Cross Roads)...
The guitar and vocals were tracked live, and then layered percussion, harmonica, 2nd guitar and Didgeridoo as needed.

There is always a temptation to keep layering instruments, but I was conscious to keep a raw, authentic representation of my live sound.



Movin' On

The first single from my soon to be released debut EP titled Fall in Love. Cold Hard Lesson is a song about loneliness and taking the odd occasion to have a self indulgent cry. Recorded at Mononest on the south coast of Sydney with the wonderfully talented Mr Syd Greene this is a song I'm excited to be putting out into the universe. x
