I’ve curated a 2.5-hour mix that’s deeply personal to me, featuring tracks that hold special meaning, taking you on a journey back to 1996 when I first started experimenting with 1210s. This mix is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, capturing the energy of iconic nights at Cream @ Nation, Shindig in Newcastle, and Space Ibiza. I’ve also included three of my latest compositions, created with love and dedication for my children. The tracklist is a carefully selected blend of timeless gems, from Glenn Underground’s *Dizco Moog* and Heaven & Earth’s *Prescription Every Night* to Underworld and Nalin & Kane, among others. It’s a heartfelt fusion of past and present, crafted with passion and meaning. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I did creating it!

Blending the raw pulse of classic drum machines with the organic hum of everyday life, ‘808 Sonic Postcard’ is a love letter to the sounds that shape our world. Built on the gritty warmth of the TR-808 and the sharp snap of the 909, the track layers hypnotic rhythms with field recordings—car alarms morph into percussion, seabirds sync to hi-hats, and the crash of waves dissolves into sub-bass. It’s electronic music as a living collage, where the mechanical and the natural bleed together, mirroring the chaotic beauty of coastal commutes, café chatter, and the quiet moments in between. Track Review: Weightless – A Melodic Journey Through Struggle and Hope. 

Weightless is a deeply personal and emotive electronic track that serves as both a cathartic expression and a beacon of resilience. Created amidst the artist’s ongoing battles with brain injury, depression, and anxiety, the song encapsulates the weight of uncertainty and the struggle to remain present for loved ones while feeling helpless.  

The track’s production mirrors its thematic depth—melodic layers intertwine with haunting vocals, crafting a soundscape that is both melancholic and uplifting. The persistent loop of a ticking clock acts as a powerful motif, symbolizing the relentless passage of time and the anxiety of an uncertain future. Yet, within this tension, there’s an undeniable sense of movement—a journey through darkness toward light.  

Lyrically, Weightless acknowledges life’s crushing hardships while urging the listener to “live it up” despite them. This duality—raw vulnerability paired with a defiant optimism—makes the track profoundly relatable. The electronic elements ebb and flow, mirroring emotional turbulence before resolving into moments of clarity and hope.  

Ultimately, Weightless is more than a song; it’s an auditory embodiment of perseverance. It doesn’t shy away from the pain of its creator’s struggles but instead transforms that pain into something transcendent—a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is a path forward.

Notions begins with a solitary, driving piano, the stark core of a family's struggle. As layers of atmospheric synths merge and swell, they evoke the complex emotions and unspoken tensions filling the space. Then, the deep kick drum enters: a relentless, unifying heartbeat, pounding through the chaos as the track builds. It’s the sound of a shared burden, a story of pressure and perseverance, told not with words, but with the relentless push and pull of sound.

"Victoria" is a 6-minute immersive experience in G# minor, a track created as a personal tribute to the artist's wife. It marries a lovely, melodic piano riff with a powerful undercurrent of driving deep synths, creating a compelling contrast between the delicate and the intense. The arrangement is elevated by layers of haunting, atmospheric vocals, resulting in a beautiful and deeply emotional piece. This is music that wears its heart on its sleeve, a beautiful soundscape dedicated to its muse.

away and all that remains is the hypnotic pulse of the music and the connection in the room. A deep, melodic journey for the heart of the night.

I created this as means of escape and a tool for survival, this track is the sound of navigating a dark headspace and finding a flicker of light through sheer creative will.
