Initially 'Dreamism' is a colourful drone evoking subaquatic imagery with subtle samples and musique concrète for decoration. Later in the track the aims change in order to contrast a range of recording methods and fidelity, using Lo-fi recording techniques by means of accenting and adding potency to the clearer, more Hi-fi recordings

Dreamism

as part of my end of year piece, this is one half of a dance of fire and water.
this piece is a tranquil piece and i feel gives a good representation of water. during the installation for this piece, a light will shine underneath a bowl of water, creating an illuminaing light source. as with the ever changing movement of the water, the bowl should cast a shimmering dancing light display on the wall.
this piece was partially inspired by james lane, who's 1st year piece incorporated a similar visual element.
