Here's my entry for the SquarePusher '4001' Remix competition. 
I only found out abou this last monday so its been a bit a rush and unfortunatlely i could only get the mp3 stems to work so it might sound a little over compressed.

All the audio is taken from the opening track entitled '4001' from Squarepusher's new record. The audio was transformed using a Circuit bent Cassette Recorder, 1/4" Reel to Reel , Circuit bent CD Player , a sawn-off Euphonium bell with a 'JamBox' inside, Tin-Foil Speaker Microphone and of course lots of glitchy vst's and EXTREAME Cubase editing!

Craig Scott's Lobotomy is the latest musical adventure to seep out of the fertile Leeds (UK) music scene where experimental
jazz rubs shoulders with Electronica and DIY alternative rock. As the self-proclaimed creator and leading exponent of the 'medio core' genre, the music of Craig Scott's Lobotomy is a bubbling cauldron of conventional and experimental sounds. Live improvisations are pulled apart, transformed by crudely home-made noise producing / altering paraphernalia and then intricately re-constructed with digital audio software . The result is a Fankenstein's monster scaling the 'uncanny valley'. Part human , part machine and revelling the glory   and error of both.

En tant que créateur d'auto-proclamée et principal représentant du genre «médio-core», la musique de Lobotomy Craig Scott est un chaudron bouillonnant de sons classiques et expérimentales. Improvisations en direct sont écartées, transformé par crûment artisanale produisant du bruit / modifier attirail, puis finement re-construit avec le logiciel audio numérique.
