Craig Sinclair - Halloween Techno 2018

        Music has always been a big part of Craig Sinclair’s life, but at the turn of the millennium, at the tender age of 15, when that sweet sound we all love, blessed his ears, he knew that ‘Electronic Dance Music’ was something that he wanted to pursue.

	With no previous musical background, this self taught DJ began experimenting with vinyl turntables shortly after encountering Windsor’s afterhours scene, where he started meeting local resident DJ’s at The Underground and Platinum.  Every Friday, Craig made it a tradition to go down to the local record shop (Dr. Disc) during the day to shuffle through white label house records, substantially building his vinyl collection.

	After experimenting with vinyl, Craig took 3 years off the decks to attend St. Clair College’s Advertising Program, while travelling from Chicago to Montreal (and everywhere in between) interacting with DJ’s and people with interests alike.  During this time, Craig further began to understand Electronic Music and evolved his style into what he is today.
  
	 Working hard as a bedroom DJ and spinning at local house parties, Craig polished up his mixes and transitions, allowing him to record a demo and distribute all over town.   In Sinclair’s early days as a club DJ he has been known to rock out to some dirty Electro House , and as he continued to work with a variety of electronic genres, he found that he plays his most intricate sets when he’s experimenting with the sounds of Techno and Minimal.  Producing is an element of ‘EDM’ that recently Craig has started to dabble with, and presently Craig’s influential producers include: Ahmet Sendil, Koen Groeneveld, Aka Aka, Spektre, Andrea Roma, Seismal D, and NHB to name a few.

	Currently, this Windsor Ontario Native holds a monthly residency at Windsor’s only world class nightclub, (The Boom Boom Room) where he has had the opportunity to play alongside International and Local DJ’s such as:  Deko-ze, Lee Burridge, Markus Schultz, Sydney Blu, Glenn Morrison, Funkerman, Sultan, Serge Devant, LA Riots, DJ Abdul, , Patrick T, Martin Southall, Iain Hamilton, Josh Karmin, Matte Blakk, and Justin James.
